Izuku sighed as he waited at the counter. The cafe allowed him to leave his business card out for potential patrons.
The only problem was, no one took a card. They looked at it, looked at him, scoffed and threw them away.
Never once asking for photos that he had taken for reference or anything. But he couldn't blame them. They were here for coffee, not to look for a photographer.
He looked up from the counter as he heard the bell ring. Putting a smile on his face as he watched two ladies walk in with their kids.
"Hello welcome to Leafy Beans, what can I get for you today?" He asked as he grabbed a pen and his notepad.
"I'll take a medium iced latte, and a small black tea." The lady with blonde hair and space buns said as she picked her son off the ground.
"And I'll take a large strawberry boba, and a small... what did you want again Yukiki?"
The small white haired girl on the ground frowned at her obviously forgetful mother and looked away.
"I don't remember.. that's why I told you earlier."
Izuku smiled at the two girls as he grabbed a menu from under the counter. Handing it to the small girl.
"This is all of our drinks, I have a feeling you want a boba as well, they're right there." Izuku said pointing towards the boba section.
The small girls eyes lit up as she saw the wide selection.
"Oooo~ I want the mango peach boba!" She said as she jumped up and down. Her mother smiled and nodded.
Izuku smiled as he entered their total into the cash register.
"That comes down to a total of 15.85. Or am I splitting that?"
"I'll pay Kaibi, you bought toys."
"Tatami, don't worry! It's Daichi's birthday." The older white haired woman said as she handed her card to Izuku, who took it with as smile. Swiping it and then turning to make drinks.
"Momma! I want it now!" The small girl whines as she put her hands on the counter.
"Yukiki! You have to be patient." She scolded her daughter as she opened her phone.
The small girl whined and turned around quickly her hands hitting a box off the counter. "But I don't want to wait!"
"At this rate I shouldn't even give it to you!" The mother yelled as she knelt down to pick up the cards.
Stacking them together slowly and then picking up the box they had sat in. And paused.
"Hey.. wait a second."
Izuku turned to look at the girl who was looking at his cards.
"Ah! Is something wrong?" He asked as he waited for the mango tea to dispense.
"No.. it's just. Are you Izuku Midoriya?"
Izuku looked at her confused, she was looking at his card however.
"Yes I am? Are you interested?" Ha asked with a smile as he poured the boba into the cup.
"No.. wait- I mean.. Yes!.. Wait.." The woman looked so conflicted.
And Izuku's mind was already running a mile a minute.
Today was Haruhi's birthday. So he was working overtime so he could afford his gift.
A custom $480 laptop, with his name on it. And then there was an extra $20 for him to buy a cake. Or should he just give Haruhi the money to buy his own things?
