"That was a direct taunt." Bakugo snarls,
"Hey, calm down there's nothing we can do about it right now." I chide, he snuggles deeper into my side on the couch, Mina's playing some half-baked, animated, raunchy, cartoon show and leaning at the other end.
"We could try going to-"
"Mina we can't risk somehow losing our memories." I cut in, "I don't wanna-"
"Lose Bakugo? That's the worst thing you could be worried about right now Kiri." She hisses,
"Mina, you know that wasn't what I was going to say."
"There's nothing more to say!"
I only give her a pained expression, she looks at me, then suddenly she's in my face, "You'd kick Eri off a cliff if it meant you kept your fuck buddy huh Kirishima?" I shove her back,
"Where the hell did you get that from?!" I stand, I can see Bakugo tense on the couch.
"YOU DON'T WANT TO TELL THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP ERI VITAL INFORMATION!" Mina shoots up almost chest to chest with me.
"We can help her ourselves!"
"What?! Last week you were puking in my toilet now your suddenly an adult?!" She pokes my chest,
"No! I'm not! But the pro heroes don't have our advantage!"
"What advantage-" her voice drops, "- being incompetent? Not realizing there's someone we can't trust, right under our noses?" She looks up at me, "we're just kids. Big ass. Stupid. Kids. Eri can't suffer for us."
"But, what if the pro heroes, are the traitors?"
"Really?" She flops back down onto the couch,
"I don't know,"
"I'll go talk to Allmight tomorrow,"
"No, let me talk to Midoriya, he can let Allmight know tonight." I let out a chuckle, "It's amazing that he only threatened our memories earlier, we can't stay out of trouble for a couple hours."
"You going in person?"
"Yeah,"
She nods, "You going too Boom man?"
"If it's all the same, I'm pretty tired, can I crash here?"
"Yeah, of course dude. Hey, Kirishima make sure to say bye to Eri, it's her last night here."
I give her a thumbs up before heading out the door.
Eri is sitting on the couch watching tv,
"Hi Eiji!" She says, before chowing down on more cereal.
"Hey kiddo how's it going?" I pause at the end of the couch.
"It's going just swell!" She chirps, eyes glued to the screen.
"Well that's just swell," I pause, "I'll see you around kiddo, make sure you say hi from time to time."
"Are you going somewhere?" She tilts her head towards me.
"Right now yeah, and I won't be back until you're in bed later."
"Okay then, I'll say hi Eiji!"
I smile, "I'll hold you to it."

I call Midoriya on the way, he answers with a grunt and a hissed barely audible; "Todoroki!"
"What do you need Riot boy?" The monotone male questions, almost too close to the phones speaker.
"I need to come over and explain something that happened at the football game, at least before I tell Allmight tomorrow."
"What do you need to talk about Kirishima?" Midoriya asks,
"His sex life." I almost veer off the road.
"Shoto!" I can hear a light smack following.
"Uh no," a split second of smacking my mouth incoherently trying to form a silent sentence later, "I'll just explain when I get there, it has to do with the sirens."
"Allmight said to do nothing about them." Midoriya chides,
"What about when one of them decides to watch our football game?"
  "What?"
"Shigoraki was at our football game, front row seats."
  "Holy SHIT, get over here,"
"Why do you think I'm calling you?"
"Fuck specifics," I hear Todoroki mumble, "Guess I have to cover my ass then,"
  Midoriya chuckles, "Preferably,"
Ew, is this how everyone sees me and Bakugo?
  "Yep be there in five."
  "Hey Kirishima,"
  "Yeah Icy-hot."
"Don't, but how do you know where Midoriya lives?"
"He has to get his pot somewhere, and I love his mom."
"She loves you too Kirishima." I hear Midoriya holler.
  "Thanks, I needed that."
  "See you in five bitch."
  "Actually seven Todoroki."
  "Fuck specifics,"
"DON'T YOU DARE THROW-" a loud clunk, "Todoroki you bitch!"
I cackle then hang up.

So there I was, on Midoriya's couch, bong mid rip, when precious National treasure Inko walks through the door grocery bags in hand. I finish taking in the hit and hold it. Silence.
"Hey Mom." Midoriya chuckles. My bugged eyes flash from person to person.
"I don't see it, it's not here." She holds up her keys, "No ash on my floor, I do not approve, but at least you aren't driving. You're safe, so I'm not mad."
I let out a huge whoosh of smoke, gagging, Todoroki snatches the bong so it doesn't end up spilling.
  "How were your days kids?"
"Great! I got to talk to Allmight about some extra credit for some of the questions I missed, can't be a police officer without 100%! -" I tune out, fully focused on not coughing up a lung. Midoriya seems to talk for a solid thirty seconds without a breath.
  "How was your day Shoto?"
"I spent my dads money and got him pissed off at me again."
  "Shoto-"
"I apologized," Inko crosses her arms, "-by buying him a nice delivery dinner with his own money." She chuckles,
"You are getting better I suppose." The closest thing I've seen to warmth graces Todoroki's face.
  "Eijiro, how was your day?"
Oh shit think.
We cannot do that
"We won the mock game then had a suicidal chapstick needing dumb bitch try to kill everyone in the bleachers, and found out there was a traitor but we chased the wrong person, and we still have no way of actually trying to defend ourselves without the consequence of losing our memories to keep us safe."
  Incredulous looks all around,
"Ah!" Inko makes the same face as her son when she's put into a tough situation, triangle mouth. "Well, sounds eventful, I'm going to bed, Izuku, please put the groceries away then come and speak with me in my room.
