"Kirishima!" Mina yells from behind the flames,
"You and Midorya keep running, get to the cars!" Mina nods, the ushers the boy forward.
I grip tighter to Bakugo's hand as we turn to look at the black haired man behind us.
"Well, what do we have here?" Todoroki stiffens, "Two Mermaids," he tilts his head when he looks at me, "and a, BITCH." I tense up, oh, ho ho no he didn't.
"Bitch! Bitch? I am a MAN!" Bakugo slaps his arm around my chest. "If anything you're a scaled bitch, Bitch!"
"Oh my god Kirishima," Bakugo chuckles,
"Shut up, you're on my side."
"All of you shut up, this guy literally tossed flames at us." Todoriki buts in.
"You tossed Twice in a lake, unconscious," the man quips back,
"He was threatening, and we knew you were down there to help him." I say back, the man rolls his eyes, before chucking another ball of flame at Bakugo and I. In a split second he's on the ground and I'm harder than a rock with my clothes noxious fumes trying to bust open my nose. I'm glad my nose closes when I harden.
I rip what's left of my shirt off and toss it back at the man.
God that looked so fucking sick
I can see on his face he's in awe too, or is that disgust,
Hnngh,
Another flame, I punch it,
"I'm not gross!" I holler, there it was, the crack in my armor.
"You sure about that?" He yips,
"I-" but Todoroki is suddenly in it punching the man in the jaw. Bakugo follows launching himself into the air, he lands a harsh explosive blow to the mans head.
"Fucking DIE!" Man hits the ground before lashing back with flames of his own. I shove Bakugo away, blocking with my arm. Then the earth comes alive, slamming me in the chest. "Eijiro!" My blonde screams. I hit the ground, meters away.
"Dabi," the calm voice cuts through the wreckage. Bakugo yanks me up by my arm, hauling me to my feet. He practically carries me, running as fast as he can with my deadweight. Todoroki appears beneath my other arm, I'm hopping as much as I can to help them.
"What happened? We won right?" I slur,
"Yeah, we won until some guy showed up, good job Eiji." Bakugo growls. Soon enough I'm shoved into my car in the backseat, Mina's behind the wheel, I hiss as my heads laid down on Bakugo's lap.
"Where's it hurt Ei?" Bakugo speaks calmly, I love it when he does that. I lift a hand to my ribs, and trace around my sternum.
"Oh shit are his ribs broken?"
"Don't give him any ideas Mina." Bakugo hisses, I feel the car jolt forward.
"Where are the others?"
"In Deku's car, they're following us." Bakugo replies, "Mina look OUT!" I feel the car swerve and I pull myself up, just in time to see the calm man from earlier, his eyes are the embodiment of rage, the rest of his face hides behind a mask. I shoot my eyes forward in time to see Mina swerve away from the other boy I saw swimming, he brushes his hand against the side of my car, speaking of which immediately starts to shudder. Mina slams on the breaks hard, but for some reason I'm sliding against the gravel, my car nowhere to be seen. I look beside me, and see Bakugo with a grimace on his face cheek firmly planted against the ground. I reach for his hand, half lidded eyes meet mine. I give his hand a squeeze, before pushing myself, haphazardly, to my feet, I almost lost my balance, taking a reassuring step back.
"WHAT THE FUCK!?" The men look at me, allowing Midorya's car to speed past, he skids to a stop not far beyond Mina, who's helping Bakugo to his feet. He grunts, I watch him with baited breath, he must've gotten hurt in the fight earlier. I turn back to the two men who are standing not as far away as I'd like, the ground comes alive again, as the masked man crouches, I harden, it plants firmly into my gut, I let out an angry bellow before pounding the stump down. My breathing whistles between my teeth,
"Kirishima!" I look at the green boy with the corner of my eye, "Move!" I dive into the ditch as the green boy let's out a bloodcurdling scream, "SMASH!" the wind force slings my hair around. Once the word ends however I make a mad dash for Midorya's car. I spare a second to look back, and gladly find that the two men are slung far, far away from us. I help Mina pull Bakugo into the car, Eri sits on Mina's lap, and I put Bakugo's head on mine before slumping into the door with a groan.
"Oi, Ei, you okay?" Bakugo softly asks,
"Yeah, I'm fine." I huff, hand grasping at my side,
"You look like hell,"
"So do you,"
"Yeah," he sighs, hand swiping his forehead and shining red, "You aren't gross by the way."
"What?"
"You aren't gross, you could never be gross." I try to lean down, but I can't, I settle for kissing my palm and setting it on his cheek.
"Thanks Bakugo."
