"Go, just cry it out," I calmly said while caressing her hair. I am in front of her while she's crying out loud in front of the dead body of her grandma.

Few minutes passed but still, she is not talking even if I ask her what she wanna eat. At that point, she just cried repeatedly. She didn't stop crying since I got here. If I could only feel what she is feeling right now.

Then suddenly, she hugged me very tight. I am in complete shock, but I managed to hug her too. I hope I am doing this in the right way. I held, and I dragged her head on my chest, patting her back.

"Everything will be fine, Vielka. I am here."

"H-how? M-my grandma just died," she stuttered, and she broke into tears. I didn't know what to do anymore for me to comfort her. She even knelt down, maybe because she just can't believe what was happened a while ago.

"I'm sorry for your loss, Vielka," I helped her to stand up and asked her to go with me to our classroom. Fortunately, she agreed. I told the nurses to do the rest to settle Vielka's grandma.

While we were walking, she slowly wiped away her tears. I explained to her what she must do right now. She's a clever girl but for now, I don't think she could process her thoughts effectively.

When we arrived, Vielka explained everything to the class. She was in sorrow by just looking at her eyes.

Our teacher agreed to send her home, and he asked me to help her on her way home. The teacher did not continue the lesson and asked everyone to come with us to Vielka's house and give their dearest comforts.

For others, this is a free day, but for Vielka, it will absolutely be a day full of mourning. I gestured Clyde and Lawrence to come over me.

"Is that true?" Lawrence asked, and I nodded. I told him to talk to Vielka directly.

"What should I do? I mean, I don't know how to comfort her," I asked Clyde. Clyde is always that concerned with everyone, so I know he knows how to comfort everybody.

"Just don't leave her dude," he answered while tapping my shoulder, and I nodded.

Our classmates left whispering. Her friends also left the classroom after they talked to Vielka. Vielka is so devastated. Everything was so sudden.

I can't feel how painful it is, but I will strive to always be at her side. I won't let her suffer. I will make her feel that I am still here to guide and help her.

"I need to go home first. Thank you so much, Zach. Thank you," she said with a smile, but I could still see her eyes full of sorrow.

"Clyde, send her home, please," I told Clyde. At first, Vielka was hesitant, but I forced her. I want nothing bad to happen to her. I also need to go home to change my clothes.

Lawrence and I watched them walked away from us.

"Zach, look at the guy by the window," Lawrence got my attention.

I saw a guy looking at Vielka. I didn't know who he was. But for sure, he came from the other room and just roaming around to eavesdrop on why all my classmates just went out.

"Do you know that guy?" Lawrence asked me.

"No, just don't mind him. Let me focus on Vielka. She needs me right now," I said like I am scolding Lawrence. He must not confuse me.

We walked away, and I noticed that the guy he was talking about a while ago is already looking at me. Well, what should I expect? People always look at me. It's not new anymore.
