A/N: Listening to; Blackbriar "I'd Rather Burn"
Hope y'all enjoy! Extra long and extra action packed tonight!!
Third Person P.O.V
At sunrise, Lexx pulled into an empty park. She leaned over, slapping Habit a few times. "Come on," She growled, "Wake up!" Her eyes flashed into the backseat, towards Noah. "What did you do?" Glancing between them he muttered "F*** off-"
Arms wrapped around him. Pulling him back into his seat, grabbing his jaw and hair, and one holding a knife above his left eye.
"S-stop!" TJ cried, failing to hide her fear.
"Noah," Lexx's whimsical voice contrasted with the fierce terror in the air, "Tell me; What. Did. You do?" "I- I don't know." He grunted out, unable to move. "Then why is he not waking up?" She slaps him again.
Habit lurched forward, vomiting blood all over the windshield and glove compartment. "I liked you better asleep." Lexx cringed as he wheezed and hacked. He muttered "Pull over." "We are pulled over." she rolls her eyes, "If you need to throw up, go ahead. Otherwise, please clean your mess up and-" "Go without me," he coughs, looking her over weakly.
Noah, still held down, looked to TJ, then to the window. She took a sharp breath, blinking in confirmation.
"No," Lexx huffed, "I was told to keep you in check!" "F*** what you were told..." "I swear, Habit, I'm not-" She stopped as he shakily pulled his machete. "Habit," she raised her eyebrow, "Do you honestly believe The Family's going to let you kill me?" "Spacer." He nods back towards the hostages.
Quietly, the cult members let go of Noah, creeping out the doors without movement in the car. As they stepped up, Noah lifted his sneaker, pulled the door handle- as did TJ- and hissed "Now!"
They kicked their doors open, knocking over cult members. "GO!" She yelled, trying to guide him through her side.
They stepped out onto the pavement only to be met by awaiting arms. TJ kicked the man down and they circled the car.
"Run!" Noah cried, taking off towards the freeway.
A fist came down on his back, knocking him off balance. TJ Tried to keep him up, but turned to respond to the threat. She kicked another, calling out for help from the freeway. Noah got back up then froze.
Lexx stood outside her door, gun raised above the front of the hood. "I wouldn't do that, really," She called, voice low and sharp behind a sweet accent, "Don't think for a moment I won't shoot you." "You need us," Noah replied as the cult members returned, "You have to take us to Slender Man." "You, maybe. The girl is more expendable."
TJ stiffened behind him. He glanced to the passenger door, where Habit stared at them in a daze. His eyes were unfocused, and for a moment, he thought he saw light return to them.
Lowering his head, Noah and TJ were forced back towards the van.
Jay felt anxious. Being in the car with just Josh, Xakk, and Vinny felt odd. TJ and Noah both seemed to be the closest he had to friends. They made him feel most welcomed. And Josh...
He glanced in the rearview mirror, where Josh stared out the window with glossy eyes.
Another innocent taken.
