"Not a mortal!" Nico said decidedly, "That's not fair to the kid. He or she will be in constant danger because of us"
"What about a legacy?" Will suggested, "Reyna said there were two or three orphans in New Rome"
"I don't know...", Nico said, slumping against the table, "We just have to meet the right one at the right time"
"Hey! Don't be so dramatic", Will said, rolling his eyes.
"But yeah...let's visit New Rome anyways. I've wanted to meet Reyna for a while now", Nico continued, ignoring Will.

"REYNA!!" Nico let out totally manly, macho and not at all fangirl-esque squeal, flinging his arms around the girl who had taken up the role of his older sister for the better part of his teenage years.
Will just stared at the scene taking place in front of him.
"Hey Neeks. Solace", she acknowledged his presence with a curt nod.
Although she was frozen at 16 forever (perks of being a hunter), she still retained her fierce protectiveness over Nico. Even though she'd given her approval of the two of them dating, he had a feeling it would be a long time before she could accept that he wouldn't (and physically couldn't) break Nico's heart.
"What brings you guys here? Is something wrong at camp? Nico? Are you alright? Is this Percy or Annabeth? Oh gods, is it one of the kids? Are they okay?" Reyna fired question after question, her eyes darkening.
"Everyone's fine", Wil assured her, "We- we wanted to see the orphanage today if possible"
Reyna's face softened.
"Of course! But first, we are going to have a long chat and you are gonna catch me up with everything that's happened at camp mister", Reyna said, giving Nico her fiercest glare, though her amused smile betrayed her.

"This is hopeless", Nico sighed, "I'm pretty sure all of those kids hated us. Well, hated me, really. They absolutely loved you!"
