Act 2 Chapter 4
As she felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned around and screamed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Oracle of Delphi stood behind her, green eyes glowing and a scandalised look on her face.
"Rachel", she breathed in relief, "You scared me!"
"What are you doing here?" Rachel hissed.
"I- I just- What's this painting about?" she asked, deflecting Rachel's question.
"Nothing!" the Oracle said, throwing the white covering over the painting and effectively blocking it from Sienna's view, "You didn't see anything"
"Who was that woman in the painting Rachel?" she asked.
"No one. Sienna, you shouldn't be out right now. It's a miracle the harpies haven't caught you yet"
"But-"
"You should go Sienna. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone"
With that Rachel all but shoved her out of the cave. It was only when she was halfway back to her cabin that she realised she hadn't even gotten to ask about her dream.
"CAMPER OUT OF BED!! CAMPER OUT OF BED!!!!!" a Harpy screeched.
"Oh shut it", she said irritably, "Don't you have anything better to do?"
Shocked and insulted, the harpy, thankfully, left.
"Who was that woman?" she wondered out loud, idly throwing a glance back at her cabin, where Michael was setting up his easel for his daily sketching session.
Was it morning already? The sky was still pretty dark and gloomy.
Sienna glanced back, only to see the sun rising.
"I stand corrected", she muttered, breaking into a run.
Throwing another glance at Michael, she suddenly felt inspired, "Maybe I could describe the woman to him and he could draw it for me"
Michael was fairly good at art. Unfortunately, he was very nosy as well and he would want to know every single detail of what was happening. She needed a better plan.

Bianca hadn't been able to sleep at all. Thalia's offer weighed heavily in her mind. But there was also Tom that she had to consider. Although a childish crush didn't equate to love in most people's minds, her life was full of examples that said otherwise. Her own parents for one. They had embodied love for so long that everyone else almost held them as a standard. And their relationship was also the product of a childhood crush. When she looked at Silenna and Charlie smiling at each other, or laughing together, she never felt envious that they had such a good relationship. Secretly, she had never really thought highly about love.
With a sigh, she stood up and walked out of the tent that the Hunters of Artemis had so nicely provided for them. Her mind went back to what was written on the brochures. Accelerated healing, better archery skills, and the opportunity to truly shine all sounded pretty tempting. But the most tempting of all was that she would remain eternally young, never fearing illness or death, unless it was on the battle field, which was a concern she'd have to face at some point anyway. A demigod/legacy's life was full of danger, regardless of whether she became a huntress or not, she could easily die on a battle field at any point in time.
