Chapter 11: Missing

Kirsten's POV

"Guys, you have to be very careful with your every move." Pinaalalahanan ko ang tatlong lalaking kasama ko ngayon sa may lagusan.

Matapos ng madamdaming paguusap namin ng mga kuya ko ay agad na kaming nagtungo sa lagusan sa pagitan ng aming mundo at mundo ng mga mortal.

"I've been in that world, too, Sweetie, so don't worry about me." Nakangiting wika sa akin ni Aesir. Narinig kong umismid ang dalawa kong Kuya. Hindi parin talaga ayos sa kanila na kasama ko si Aesir.

It's not like we're together officially. I don't know kung uso ba sa mga vampire ang process ng ligawan and confirmation before you consider calling something as relationship, but I do.

"We've never been here, Ame, but we're so great. This will be very easy for us to handle." Wika ni Kuya Tyler.

"Good to hear that." I told them and continued walking the path outside our world.

As I observed my brothers, magkaibangagkaiba silang dalawa. Though they have the same face and same age, mas level headed si Kuya Tyro kumpara kay Kuya Tyler. He has this long patient. Kaya niyang mahandle ang sitwasyon rationally. While Kuya Tyler is the opposite. Mabilis ang respond ng katawan niya sa inis. Most of the time, he's using his mouth to shoot dagger like words. He's very mischievous as well. Palikero ito at sa pababling.

The only common thing with them is they are both cry baby. Ang tagal bago namin napatahan ni Kuya Tyro si Kuya Tyler. He's even calling out for mom. 

Ganun pa man, natutuwa ako na kahit na parang hindi sila okay ni Aesir, wala naman silang sinasabing hindi maganda dito. Though minsanan, pag nagiging clingy si Aesir sa akin ay sumisingit sila.

Aesir would just shake his head and gives way to them.

"A kilometer away from here, I remembered that there's a small hut with humans living."

Inabisuhan ko sila sa possibleng encounter namin sa tao.

"We cannot handle any casualty from the humans. We have an agreement from this world. They will not harm vampires who live here if we will not harm any of them." Napalingon ako kay Aesir na nagsalita. I didnt know that there are vampires living here.

"May mga bampira dito sa mundong ito?" Maging si Kuya Tyro ay hindi alam ang bagay na iyon.

"Yes. Mayroong ilan na piniling dito manirahan. Years ago, we were hunted by humans. Minsan kasing may naligaw na untamed vampires sa isang barrio at nambiktima ng mag asawa. Kaya nagalit ng husto ang mga tao. We have no other choice that time but to give that vampire to them in return of the agreement. So far, wala namang kaso ng vampire killing activities sa mga nakalipas na taon."

Mataman lamang kaming nakinig kay Aesir. Kinabahan akong bigla. Paano kung mahirapan akong magpigil ng uhaw? Knowing how alluring human blood's scent is, baka mawala ako sa wisyo.

"Well, if we cannot smell any blood, there will be no problem right?"

Tanong ni Kuya Tyro. Aesir and I both nodded in response to him. Napangiti siya at tila may naisip na gawin.

"I can see the hut now." Wika ni Aesir. Maya maya lamang ay nanuot na sa aking pang amoy ang halimuyak ng dugo ng tao.

Nakita ko ang iba't ibang hibla ng amoy na umaalpas mula sa mga bintana ng kubo.
