Chapter 1

"No more check-in duty?" Jaemin asked Rena as he approached the female dorms to see his girlfriend standing outside on her phone. Rena smiled as she placed her phone in her pocket, shaking her head.

"Nope, I'm off now." Rena said, smiling back. The two laced hands as they stood there, waiting for their other friends to join them.

It was the beginning of another school year, and they watched as the new students of the Academy exited their vehicles, dragging their bags and boxes along as they moved into their new home for the next few months.

"Did you miss me?" Rena decided to ask, breaking the silence between them. Jaemin chuckled.

"We've literally been separated for the fifteen minutes that I took to put my bag in the room." Jaemin pointed out. Rena simply shrugged.

"Is that a no, then?" Rena asked and Jaemin immediately shook his head.

"Of course I missed you." Jaemin cooed, just as Jiwoo and Renjun joined them.

"If you guys are going to do that, can you go to a place outside of my field of vision." Renjun said with his arms crossed.

"Why are you so mad today?" Rena asked the witch.

"He asked where Jeno was and I told him he was visiting Haechan." Jiwoo said, making Renjun roll his eyes.

"Are you seriously still mad at him for getting higher exam scores than you?" Jaemin asked, raising an eyebrow. Renjun threw his hands up.

"It's not just that, he let out the most dangerous creatures of them all, one of them by the name Lee Dongwook." Renjun argued.

Jaemin opened his mouth to reply but ended up turning his head as he heard two voices bickering to see a male and female with identical faces getting out of the car.

"What are you going to do, Eunjung? Answer some riddles to defeat them?" The male mocked.

"Like burning them would be better, Jungmo." The girl replied with an eyeroll.

"Oh yeah?" Jungmo threatened.

"Yeah!" Eunjung said, squaring up with her brother.

"Twins, could you please stop bickering." A woman said as she exited the vehicle. The twins gave their mother a look.

"No!" They both said at the same time, making their mother let out a deep sigh.

"Geez, I hope they're not joining the agency." Jiwoo said, an unimpressed look on her face.

"Well, I hate to say this, but they are." Rena said, surprising the faerie.

"What, really?" Jiwoo exclaimed, glancing around at her friends' faces.

"Yup, don't you recognize them?" Renjun asked. Jiwoo shook her head.

"No, who are they?" Jiwoo asked, curious.

Jaemin gave the faerie a wide grin.

"They're the Phoenix Cha Twins."

"Seriously, the Cha Twins?" Haechan exclaimed behind the glass. Jeno nodded his head.

"Yeah, according to Jaemin, they're the only two that are joining the agency this year." Jeno said, resting his chin in his hand."But it's not like you'll get to seem them, aren't you stuck here?"

Haechan smiled as Jeno motioned to his glass encasement. "Actually, Taeyong said that he'll let me out just for school, but I'll be under close watch and I'll have to return to the cell in the agency basement."
