"Renjun, I really can't get it." Minjee confessed with a deep sigh. Renjun crossed his arms over his chest.

After much convincing from Haechan, Renjun had agreed to help Minjee with her spells since his friend had told him that the girl was struggling.

"It'll be a good bonding session." Haechan had said. "Maybe you'll hate her. She has good sides too, you know."

"Easy for you to say." Renjun mumbled as he dropped his arms, grabbing the spell-book from the table.

"It's not that hard, Minjee. You literally just-"

"Recite it." Minjee said, giving the male a look. "I get it."

Renjun could only stand still as Minjee grabbed the book from his hands, closing it. "I don't know why Haechan suggested this. We both know that you don't want to help me anyways."

Renjun watched as Minjee shoved the book in her bag before swinging it over her shoulder. As she made her way towards the door, mumbling under her breath, she was stopped by a hand around her wrist.

"Focus. You're not focused the spell. You're chanting it just fine but it's like you don't want the spell to go through."

Minjee was silent as she stared as Renjun fingers wrapped around her wrist. He quickly let go, scratching the back of his neck as he looked down at his feet.

"Maybe if you focused more on the spell, you'll do better." Renjun suggested.

Minjee opened her mouth to respond but was interrupted by the doors barging open. The two witches tuned to see Haechan there, tie loose, out of breath, and his phone in his hand.

"Gosh, I hate how you both keep your phones on silent." Haechan huffed out, hands on his waist. He glanced at the two of them, feeling the tension in the air before shaking his head.

"I want to see how good of a tutor Renjun was but for now we got to go. Kitsune Clan is in trouble."

...

Jisung stood with the others in his training class and mentors, staring at the flames in front of them. The Cha twins were clearly unfazed by the burning heat, but the others were the complete opposite.

Jisung himself was utterly devastated. His parents were both alive and well, recovering with the others but his home, the place that he had grown up, was gone and will never be the same.

"Jungmo, Eunjung, let's go." Jeno said, Rena nodding in agreement. The two phoenixes gave Jisung one small glance before heading into the burning flames with their mentors, the group extinguishing them as they went.

Yangyang told the others that he was going to take Nari to the camp formed with the survivors, saying their healing powers would be more useful there.

That's probably where Chenle is too.

"Jimin, how do you feel about the fire?" Jiwoo asked. Jisung could feel the vampire girl's eyes staring into the back of his, waiting for his plans. The look Jiwoo gave him only confirmed it.

"We can go and just be with your family if you want." Jaemin suggested but Jisung just shook his head.

"We should go and look for survivors." Jisung said, taking a deep breath as he stared at the burning flames.

Jaemin slowly nodded his head, taking his words in. "If that's what you want."

"Let's go then." Jimin said, taking a step forward but Jisung shook his head, stopping her.

"I should go with Jiwoo noona. You vampires should probably stay far away."

Jimin was clearly unsatisfied with his words but before she could argue, Jaemin pulled his sister's arm.
