Taeil took a deep breath as he sat back down in his seat, after his speech for the students of the Academy. Haechan gave him a small smile as he walked by, annoucing the how the freshmen would be split up into groups for ice breakers.

A lot had changed since the Phoenix War, the name that they had decided to call the war that changed the supernatural world forever.

First of all, there were no more Kingdom Leaders, only Kingdom Representatives that sat on the Council, led by Taeyong and Seri, the two new rulers of the supernatural world.

The Academy had changed as well, expanding immensely. The Council had decided that it would be mandatory for all creatures to attend the Academy once they met the entrance age. This would teach them the importance of working together and with different creatures.

Although Taeil often had misbehaving students in his office, after a long speech from Doyoung, it seems as though they would much rather work together than go through Doyoung's talk again.

Running the Academy as the headmaster was a lot of work, but nothing Taeil couldn't handle with the help of his friends. With the ever expanding faculty and Upper School students, teaching and training the creatures was no problem for them.

"Nice job." Seungmin told him as they made their way off the stage. Taeil gave his friend a look.

"You really thing so?" Taeil asked. Seungmin nodded, patting Taeil's back.

"Your parents and Yoora would have been proud."

...

Johnny smiled as he sipped his coffee, walking down the halls of the Academy. He had just finished a workout class with the freshmen and was happy to see them sweating and panting, as if they had never worked out before in their lives.

I mean they probably haven't, Johnny thought as he caught sight of a male entering a classroom, holding such a large stack of books, he could barely see.

"Mark, what are you doing?" Johnny asked, narrowing his eyes. Mark let out a huff as he placed the books down on one of the desks.

"It's for my research project." Mark said, adjusting his glasses.

"Your research project?" Johnny asked. Mark nodded.

"I know my father was just helping the Devil back then, but I think he truly wanted to create a spell that cures diseases. I found some notes inside his desk that were part of his own research, so I started this project to finish what he started."

Johnny nodded his head. "That's pretty cool actually."

"Yeah, but there's so many books to read." Mark groaned as he stared at the huge stack of books on the desk.

Johnny simply shrugged as he made his way towards the exit of the classroom.

"Not my problem."

...

"Stressed?" Seri asked as she slipped into Taeyong's office. The male had papers all over his desk, his filing cabinets overflowing.

"Is it that obvious?" Taeyong asked as he stared at the girl in front of him, a smile spreading across her face.

"A little." Seri said, moving some folders off the chair so she could sit on it.

"Ruling the Supernatural World is very different from leading and H.I.D.D.E.N." Taeyong admitted. "So many issues to deal with."

"But you're not alone." Seri told him. "I'm right here, beside you through it all."

Taeyong smiled as he reached out, lightly running his fingers along the edge of Seri's face. "And I'm glad you are."
