Minjee finished her lunch early and decided to use the extra time to prepare for her next class. As she passed by the other agents, her name was called.
"Hey, Minjee. Are you busy after school?" Renjun asked her. Minjee could feel the others staring at the sudden interaction between the two.
She shook her head. "No, I'm not."
"Great, I'll meet you in the library then." Renjun said, ignoring the stares. She gave him a small smile before walking off.

Pro of being an Upper School student? Getting you own space to do your own research. Con? Having someone like Ten as your faculty advisor.
Hendery was trying to think of his project for the next two years and Ten was absolutely no help.
"What about frogs? Do something with frogs." Ten suggested.
"You know I literally hate frogs." Hendery said, rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, so you won't feel bad testing on them." Ten said with a huge grin.
"I won't even be able to go within ten feet of a frog." Hendery replied. Ten leaned back in his chair with a shrug.
"Fine, I guess you can do a lame spell or something."
Hendery sighed. Xiaojun is so lucky that he got Kun.
...
"Kang Minjee, explain right now." Chenle demanded as he slammed his hands down on her desk. Minjee sighed glancing up at the sprite. She innocently batted her eyelashes.
"How may I help you, Mr. Zhong?" Minjee asked. Chenle narrowed his eyes.
"Yah, you know exactly what I'm talking about." Chenle said. "I have never seen you have a proper conversation with Renjun before, so what gives?"
Minjee sighed. "It's a long story."
Chenle smirked as he showed her the time. They still had fifteen minutes until the start of class.
Minjee patted the empty seat beside her and Chenle sat down as she explained her summer break.
...
It was a hot summer day, and Minjee wanted to get out of the house. With her iced tea in hand, she wandered around the human town, settling on the large library in the middle.
The library had always been one of her favourite places to be. It was air conditioned, quiet, and filled with books.
After greeting the librarian, she picked a book from the shelf before making her way upstairs to one of the tables on one of the louder floors.
Minjee actually liked having background noise as she focused on her own book, as it was always a sign that the book was truly a good one when the noise drowned out.
Minjee had this one table that she loved, large and right by the window. She had a smile on her face as she made her way towards it. What she didn't expect to see though was Renjun sitting at her table, books surrounding him.
To any human, they would have seemed like regular books but the witch saw right through his cloaking spell. They were all old spell books.
"That's not it either." Renjun mumbled, closing one book and adding it to the large stacks on the right before taking one from the small pile on his left.
"What's not it?" Minjee asked. Renjun instantly turned around.
"What do you want?" Renjun asked.
