VERONICA was now back in the capital, nang maihatid siya ni Terrence sa kompanya, agad siyang umalis kasama ni Trisha.
Mahigit isang oras ng naka upo si Veronica sa sofa nang naka dekwatro kaharap ang psychiatrist na si Dr. Alenton, Tyler's Uncle.
"Why don't you just get rid of them?"
Dr. Alenton fixes his eyeglasses before answering. "Kung ganun kadali yun, that should've been done long ago Veronica. I told you, there is a small chance for you to recover but for it to be possible you must dwell in the past, but you were too afraid to face it Veronica."
They had been doing her therapies for the past 13 years but Veronica would avoid and escape her treatments when it comes to remembering the past.
"You want me to dwell on the past and face it?" Inis na tanong ni Veronica.
Nanginig ang mga kamay ni Veronica as she breathe in to calm down. Remembering one second of the past was like jumping into hell. And she won't torture herself just for that.

They were just unconscious but now they were back because they felt that you needed them again. Veronica's eyes turn cold as she fisted her hands. Matapos ang ilan pang minuto, lumabas na si Veronica sa opisina ni Dr. Alenton. Agad naman napatingin si Trisha na labas na naghihintay.
"Let's go back to the company. What's my schedule for today?" Veronica asked as she walked.
Trisha followed behind and answered. "You have 2 meetings this morning. And 3 meetings in the afternoon."
Nang marating nila ang kotse agad pumasok ang dalawa sa loob.Habang nasa byahe tahimik lang si Veronica na nakatingin sa labas.
"Stop the car." Veronica ordered na agad namang sinunod ng driver. Si Trisha na nasa front seat ay napatingin din sa labas and there she saw Alviar Corporation's building.
Napatingin naman siya kay Veronica na nasa likod ng sasakyan. Veronica was caressing her earrings, ganyan siya pag may binabalak o pag may malalim na iniisip.
"Any updates about that company?"
Trisha looked at the building outside, it was not that huge. Sakto lang sa kompanyang matagal na sa business industry.
"Pangalawa ka sa may pinakamataas na shares sa Alviar Corp."
Lingid sa kaalaman ng mga Alviar, palihim na binibili ni Veronica ang shares ng kompanya nila mula sa mga shareholder ng Alviar Corporation. At madali niya lang yun nagawa sa kompanyang pabagsak na. Hindi pa rin alam ng mga Alviar that Veronica was behind it.
Napatawa ng pagak si Veronica at napatingin sa kanya. "Pangalawa lang? Sino ang una?"
"Its Nico Reyes, he is Alfred Alviar's best friend. I found out that he was trying to assume the company for himself. I've tried to let someone from our people talk to him about the shares pero nagmamatigas siya. I think he is planning to dismiss Michael Alviar from the CEO position."
Napataas ang kilay ni Veronica at napatawa. "Akalain mo nga naman, Alfred's own men betrayed him."
Alfred Alviar is Veronica's biological father and Veronica loathed them all.
