Winnies POV:
David, Les, and I leave the house to meet the newsies. We walk a little bit and the first person i meet is a short boy.
"Well hello there beautiful. Who might you be?"
"Oh hello! I'm Winnie Foster. I'm David's cousin!"
"So what i'm hearing is, you're single?"
"Yes, i'm also not interested"
"Darn it. oh well. I'm Romeo!"
"Quite a fitting name Romeo."
After him i met almost all the boys. I met a boy with a cigar, a ginger boy, a super pessimistic boy, a few smaller boys, and a few with glasses. I had yet to meet this Jack Kelly and crutchie.
"Winnie! Say hi to Jack!" David says pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Hello there Jack! how do you do?"
"Very nicely! Wow Davey she's real proper"
"Yes Jack. She was raised like that"
"Oh have you met Crutchie?" Jack asks.
"Haha, no I haven't! I've heard about him tho"
"Here, I'll go get him!" Jack says, turning around to find the boy. Me and David chat for a bit when Jack comes back.
"Winnie, meet crutchie!"
I look up and-
"J-Jesse?"
"Winnie?"
