Chapter two

NATE'S POV ( Point of view )

I took it as an insult . My own best friend turning his back on me for some nerd ?! Have you seen the way she dresses ?! God ! I just said I would throw her in the lake like we do to every other nerd . She was the first girl I had seen that was single and didn't have at least even a five second crush on me .

I called the boys and right after failing the history test , I made my way to P . E . and stumbled upon her .

She looked different . A high ponytail .... and SHORTS ?! I thought we had the wrong girl for a second .

As according to the plan , we got her throw in the lake , but she sank down to the very bottom and didn't rise or make a sound .

We were laughing our asses off and then , we all got serious .

" What the fuck is going on ? She isn't screaming for help ! " Rob exclaimed .

" I can see that , you idiot ! I ain't blind ! We didn't intentionally WANT to kill her and shit . So , one of us has to get in there and rescue her ! " I explained .

" Well , I'm not going ! It's too cold and plus I'm already a bit sick ! " Rob made a point .

" I can swim ! " Sam continued

" Jack should go ! " Daniel said

" Ohh hell nahhh ! You go ! " Jack said

Then Daniel said something that we could all agree on .

" Why don't you go , Nate ? I mean ... it was all YOUR plan!"

I couldn't argue with that , so I took off my Varsity Jacket , jersey , shoes and socks . I was left with only my shorts . I jumped in and looked for her . I got her and gasped for air as I laid her on the deck . Then , I realized that the other four people left me .

"COWARDS!" I exclaimed .

I saw the vice principal walk towards the lake so u panicked and took her to the back of the cabin where the office people couldn't get any sight of us . She was still out cold . I covered her in my jacket and hoping she would wake up in warmth . I had an idea , but I didn't want to do it at all ! But there wasn't any other choice and Jake would kill me if he found out I almost killed her . Mouth to Mouth .

I was doing the process and suddenly , my lips felt a breath being taken from her nose . She got up , coughed out some water and left a shocked and confused expression on her face .

She looked around and said "What do you think you were doing?!?! Oh my ! I have never felt so violated ! "

" Dude , I saved your life ! You drowned ! "

She looked at me and raised an eyebrow at me . " Oh yeah ? Right after you threw me in the lake ?! "

" Sorry bout that " was all I could say and she stormed off .
