Nates pov

Yes ! Finally ! A date ! its gonna be great :) Friday came so fast ! but Thrusday and Wednesday , she was absent ... I called her but she didnt pick up .Whats going on ?

Stephanies pov

How do I tell him with all this pressure on me ? I mean .. I have been absent for two days and all my time has gone for my packing and stuff . I have to pack for Dad . For me . I got missed calls but I am not ready to tell him yet .

Okay I need to get my shit together and call this guy . I grabbed out my phone and dailed the number .

Nates pov

" OH OH OH SWEET LOVE OF MINE " I sang loudly along to the song Sweet Child O Mine by Guns And Roses :)

Then I was interrupted by a call . It was Steph . I answered

Me : Hello ?

Her : Hey

Me : What took you so long to not call back . What have you been up to ? Are you okay ?

Her : There is something I have been meaning to tell you and it is that our date is cancelled . I have to go to mom . She is calling and she already bought tickets and I dont know !!

Me : If you dont want to go out , at least you shouldnt have made a stupid excuse like this . Just tell me you dont even like me and its done . The door is open and you are free to leave cause no one is holding you back

Her : Its not like that

Me : Just go . Hang up the phone .

Her : Why ?

Me : You go or I will go myself .

Her : Im not going !

Me : Then suit yourself !

And i hung up the phone in anger . How could she say that ? How could she not be a bit considerate about this ? God ! I hate this !

Steph POV

I dont even want to talk about the phone call . So we broke up ? Or we werent together ? I dont know ! Its all just too fast . Forget it . I went to the website of Amazon and cancelled all of the stuff i ordered to be shipped to his house for the date . I cancelled all but one thing . The wine . It was a really old and expensive wine signed by The Beatles . I called the website number and they said that order couldnt be cancelled because it was ordered and was supposed to arrive a month later with safe care . But it didnt matter . At least not anymore .

SATURDAY

We were at the airport . Jake dropped us off and he kissed me on the forehead and said " Its okay . Things will get better " and we went in the airport and Jake left . Was this it ? Our last goodbye ?

ONE MONTH LATER

Nates POV

Today Jake came over . We played video games and burped . He lost . We sucked at Mario ...

Then he said " God I miss how Steph used to plag this shit . "

"Dont even talk about her . She pisses me off ." i said

Jake : Excuse me ?

Me : Yeah you heard me .

Jake : I have been sitting my ass off here thinking bout how i can get her to fall for me and she has already fallen for you and you dont care ?

Me : Stephanie likes me ?

Jake : She mad in love with you . I am surprised you let her go so easily .

** Door Bell **

Me : WHO IS IT ?

Voice : DELIVERY

Me : Come in !

** Whispers ** It must be the pizza

Voice : Umm this is for Nathan Lynch.
The card reads March 1st 2015 : you are getting this a month later . I know how much you loved wine and The Beatles so i got a signed wine bottle for you . Happy 3 month Anneversary of the day you saved me ;)

** Then the man left with the box on the floor . ** I went and picked it up . It was true . Fuck Im an idiot !!!

I called her but the phone only went to voice message . I went online but I saw a status posted 3 days ago that she wasnt going to use Facebook now .

Am i that much of an idiot ?

I called her moms number and surprisingly , Steph picked up .

" Hello "she answered

" Hey Steph ! " I said

" Im sorry you should not call me anymore , the connection is terrible and im pretty sure it isnt important . Thank you and have a nice day . Sorry "

Stephanies POV

Its been a month since I left home . My new school is better . Its amazing !
I stopped using FaceBook . I stopped using my phone . I realised that its the small things that are important and life isnt about iPhones and internet all the time .

I got a call from home on momma's phone today . Maybe it was the teacher asking why i wasnt coming anymore . Jake will explain . They will obviously ask him anyway . :)

Nates POV

WHAT THE FUCK ? Okay I will call tomorrow . The next day , the same thing happened . Ugh this sucks .

JAKES POV

I got a call from Steph while i was at Nates place . She was crying . She couldnt get a hold of herself . She was sick . She was coughing . And then the phone died .
