Sunday Morning

Chapter seven

STEPHANIE's POV

Okay so I screwed up a bit ... Or maybe a lot ? Yes ... A lot . Anyways , I looked at my phone and I had a battle in my head whether I should call him or not . I ended up doing it anyways . I called him and this is what happened

" Hey . "

" What do you want ? God if you didn't like me you could've just told me instead of leaving and having me wait there like an idiot !! "

" What I want , is you you to accept my apology . I'm sorry . I went out and I lost track of time . I gotta get back to work . Bye . "

" Bye . And it's okay ... "

I got back to my shift and pretty soon , the day went by .

Sunday Morning :)

NATES POV

I woke up . The sun peered through my window burning my eyes as if I were a vampire . I walked to the closet and pulled out a nice shirt with big letters that wrote " MUSIC DEFINES THE SOUL " and under the letters were the band members of ACDC .

I put on my new jacket and thought about yesterday as I slipped on one converse shoe at a time . Steph looked better gorgeous . He hair , her face , her body that curved . I noticed her curves for the first time yesterday . I loved the way her hands felt against my stomach yesterday when she held on tight to me so she wouldn't fall off the bike . Her dorky laugh and the way her braces show up when she laughed . She's nice . Nicer than I thought .

It was about 8 in the morning and I woke up early for the first time . I knew her shift was at 9 so I decided to surprise her and give her a ride .

I got out of the hostel and got out my bike from the hostel garage and drove it to her house . I saw her walking towards the bus stop .

" Well my oh my ! Look what we have here ! It's Stephanie ! Whatcha doin ? " I asked .

" I'm waiting for the local bus to catch a ride to my job . "

" Oh ... I can drop you off you know ? " I offered

" Okay look ... You've bullied me for my whole life . Since day one when I entered the school , you broke my glasses . And in the second year , I remember you stole my homework and fed it to the guard dog . And suddenly now you're being nice to me ? Saving me , offering rides , giving me your jacket when I was cold and wet , offering to take me out , flirting and I'm beginning to think you've changed ? "

I took off my helmet and reached my hand out and wiped away the tear that fell from her soft cheeks and said " Changed ? Have I ? "

" Don't touch me ! I don't know what you're doing but I think it's another one of those cheap ass pranks that you do to me all the time . Listen , I am scared . I don't know what's going on . Jake suddenly falls in love with me and you're being super nice too and it's all just too much for me to take ! I just can't do this . "

" It's not a prank . I don't know what's going on either , okay ? Ever since that day at the lake , I don't know ... I kinda like you . "

" I want to just to the report we are paired up at and then continue on with my life . You go in your own path and I'll go on with mine . " The bus pulled by and she got on board and said " I'm sorry . "

Well I felt like a dick now . Over all those years , had I been so harsh on her ? What is she going through ? How can I help her ?

STEPHANIES POV

I stepped in the bus , found a window seat cause I get car sick , and wiped my tears as I tried distracting myself . Just then , a song on my iPod played . ' Sunday Morning ' by Maroon 5 . Nate's voice sounded just like Adam . I don't know what's going on . How can my life be so complicated ? I did what I do when I get upset . Write it on a piece of paper and throw it out the window like a paper plane .

My mom is away and she can't pay attention to me . My dad has his own problems , especially work issues . My grandfather is with mom and he is diagnosed with paralysis , my grandmother is old and frequently gets body aches . My uncle has a second wife and my sister and brother hate me . Well ... and by sister and brother , I mean my uncles sister and brother ... I'm an only child . On top of that I'm bullied . I was bullied my whole life and still bullied . I just wish Nate would disappear and Jake too . No more frustrations .

I folded it like a paper plane and threw it out the window and finally let out a huge sigh .

NATES POV

I went after her . I chased the bus left to right and when the bus stopped at a red light , I was hit by a paper plane . I decided to get off of the bike and I picked up the plane and headed back to hostel . When I got in , I stared at the ceiling and threw the plane back and forth . Pretty soon , it started to get stupid and I hit it on the wall causing a dent . I picked it up and tried fixing it and realised something was written on it . It was her hand writing . Stephanie . Well I'll be damned ! I read it all and decided to fix things up a bit .

I went to her house and knocked on the door . Her father answered and shut the door saying " She's not here " and I knocked again and said " Actually , I'm here to talk about you , Mr . Grace .

I started off telling him to lay off the drinks . Secondly , I had him take a shower without explaining anything . As he did that , I grabbed a few newspapers and ran to the hostel and brought back a suit and scissors .

" Well , you want to see Stephanie happy ? Well , she wants you to get a job . So I'm going to give you a hair cut and you can put my suit on . As I give you the cut , circle any jobs that you find through these newspapers . " I said

" Are you sure ? " he asked

" Trust me . " I said .

I gave him a good cut , shaved his beard and in my suit , he looked like a nice man . He said he'd enjoyed being a banker so I drove by a few banks , we applied and they said they'd let us know in a week . I asked for his wife's number and we gave it to me . I called her and told her to call Steph and that she thinks that she doesn't care about her . She said she would and I went home . I had to do four more things and they were hard .

SHES NOT GOING TO POST IT !! BUT I WILL ONE DAY AND I WILL PUT THE LINK HERE TOO AND YEAH . IN THIS CHAPTER I KINDA EXPRESSED A COUPLE THINGS THAT ARE ACTUALLY GOING ON IN MY LIFE LIKE MY GRANDFATHER .... HE DOES HAVE PARALYSIS ... BUT SOME ARE TOTALLY FICTION AND SHIT .
