Chapter 2 - Can We Be Together?

Chapter 2

Ichigo P.O.V:

I woke up to a sleeping Rukia right next to me. I smiled because she looked so beautiful when she's asleep.

Ichigo: Rukia it's time to get up. I whispered

Rukia groaned and her eyes fluttered open. She smiled when her eyes met mine

Ichigo: Good morning beautiful

Rukia: Good morning Ichigo

Ichigo: Sleep well? I asked sitting up

Rukia: Yep I did actually that was probably the best sleep I ever had. She said sitting up and leaning her head on my shoulder

Ichigo: I could say the same thing

We sat like that in silence for a little bit Rukia broke it

Rukia: Ichigo where do we go from here? She asked curiously

Ichigo: What do you mean? I asked confused

Rukia: I mean concerning us. She said in a soft tone

I haven't really thought about where we are supposed to go from here. Sure we did reveal our feelings for each other but how to tell everyone else that we are together

Ichigo: Well... I guess concerning us we are together and since we are I guess I should take you out on a date today if you don't mind but this is my first time going on one so bear that in mind. In terms of telling everyone I really don't know how too

Ishin: Don't worry you don't have to telling anyone! In fact I could tell everyone else for you!!

Ichigo: DAD!!!! Ichigo said angrily.

Honestly why does he have to eavesdrop on our conversations. Would it kill you to give me a little bit of privacy

Ishin: Honestly Ichigo I'm so proud of you! You finally got with Rukia!! Oh Misaki our son is not an idiot brat anymore!! He is finally a man!!

Karin: Dad why are yelling so early in the mornings. Karin said half asleep

Yuzu: Dad would it kill you to let other people get some sleep and plus what are you rambling about? Yuzu said half asleep

Ishin: Well sorry girls but I couldn't contain my excitement over the fact that your brother and Rukia are finally a thing

Karin: Wait are you serious. Ichi-nii Rukia is what he's saying true? She asked looking at me

I think it was obvious that both of our faces were red. How did it end up like this honestly I hate you Dad

Rukia: Yes he's right. Rukia said sighing

Kairn: Dad if they were going to end up being a thing in the first place why did you make me and Yuzu go through all of that hard work to get them together!! In fact I don't even think our efforts had any effect!! Karin said angrily

Yuzu: Karin-chan please calm down. She said pleadingly

Karin: In any case Ichi-nii you better keep Rukia happy alright I'm going to my room. She said before heading out

Ichigo: Also dad I'm taking Rukia out today so don't expect us to be back before dinner. I said while standing up

Ishin: Oh so it's like a date. He said teasingly

Ichigo: For the love of god just shut up!! I growled

Ishin: Well then me and Yuzu are heading downstairs alright so you 2 get ready for breakfast. He said before walking out and closing the door behind him
