Chapter 4 - True Intentions

Chapter 4

Ichigo P.O.V:

Although I felt pretty guilty about making Orihime cry, but I told her the truth and I guess the truth hurts sometimes.... right?
I decided I should push those thoughts to the back of my head and deal with them later.

I swiftly made my way to Soul Society and arrived at the Kuchiki mansion in no time. I was greeted by Rukia and we went up to her room where we just chatted

Rukia: How did they react when you told them that you were moving to Soul Society? She asked while sitting in my lap and leaning her head on my shoulder

Ichigo: Well they were surprised by it but they were very accepting and they made me promise that I have to visit them as often as I can

Rukia let out a small laughed at my response

Ichigo: What's so funny? I asked confused

Rukia: Nothing it's just... Ichigo what's the main reason why you want move to Soul Society. She said suddenly getting serious and looking at me for a answer

Ichigo: Well if I'm being honest I did it for you

Rukia: For..me? She asked confused

I nodded my head

Ichigo: I just wanted to be closer to you because it's gotten to the point where I can't image myself living in a world without you in it. Me moving here means that I can be by your side.

Rukia then started to cry

Ichigo: Rukia what's wrong? Why are you crying? I asked concerned

Rukia: It's just.... I never felt so loved before. Ichigo please promise me you'll never leave me. She asked pleadingly

I took my index finger and wiped away her tears

Ichigo: Of course why would I ever leave you. I said softly

Narrator P.O.V:

After that Ichigo quickly pulled Rukia in for a kiss. This particular kiss felt.. different. It was light yet passionate. Rukia continued to cry tears of joy. Then the kiss quickly got more intense and Ichigo pushed Rukia onto the bed with him over her. Rukia had her fingers buried in Ichigo's hair and Ichigo slowly moved his hand up and down her waist. The 2 lovers were enjoying themselves until.....

Byakuya: Kurosaki. Byakuya said sternly

They quickly stopped and slowly turned their heads to face Byakuya. They were still blushing but Byakuya had a look that could kill

Ichigo: Uh Byakuya I...... look I can explain--

Byakuya: Kurosaki, Rukia I want you 2 to come to my office.

The wasted no time in following Byakuya to his office

Byakuya: Kurosaki you come inside. Rukia wait out here

Rukia was trying to give Ichigo the it's going to be fine look but Ichigo was freaking out on the inside

Ichigo: Did he really see everything. He thought to himself

They walked inside and had a seat. Ichigo couldn't look Byakuya in the eyes because he knew if he did he might not make it out if it alive

Byakuya: Kurosaki look at me. He said coldly

Ichigo slowly moved his eyes to look at Byakuya

Byakuya: I saw what you were doing with my sister and honestly I would like nothing more than to kill you right now but before that let me ask you. What are your intentions with Rukia. He asked while I unsheathing Senbonzakura and holding it against my throat

I'm really about to die huh well before I do I should answer his question. He thought to himself

Ichigo: Byakuya my intentions with Rukia is to stay by her side and love her forever. He said trying not to move

Byakuya: Honestly that such a lame answer couldn't he thought of anything better? Well good thing about him is that even though he's an idiot he doesn't lie. He thought to himself

Byakuya slowly brought Senbonzakura away from his throat and sheathed it before speaking

Byakuya: Kurosaki I can tell you have good intentions but you are not worthy of her and 2 how do you know she loves you back? You could have been forcing her to kiss you. He said menacingly

Ichigo: Well I'm pretty sure I'm more than worthy because that time I checked I saved her from being executed when you were trying your daym best to kill her and she's told me multiple times that she loves me. In fact let's call her in and you can see for yourself. Ichigo said slightly annoyed

Ichigo got up and called Rukia in who sat in the chair right next to Ichigo

Byakuya: Rukia

Rukia: Hai Ni-sama

Byakuya: Rukia do you love Kurosaki?

Rukia: Yes I do. She said while grabbing my hand

Byakuya: Well then I guess I can do nothing about it at this point. Hisana's final wish was for me to protect Rukia and I guess keeping her happy is part of it. Even though I hate the idea of someone nobel like her marrying an idiot like you I have no choice but to accept it. So Kurosaki I will let you marry my sister but if anything happens to her you are as good as dead. He said coldly

Ichigo: Wait what!! Marriage I mean we've only been a thing for a few----

Byakuya: I'll leave it up to you when the wedding date is and before you go. Kurosaki don't make me regret my decision.

With that Ichigo and Rukia left the room as quickly as possible

Ichigo P.O.V:

Ichigo: I thought he was about to kill me. I said finally being able to breath

Rukia: At least it went better than expected and besides now we can get married. She said smiling

Ichigo: But how are we going to tell everyone? I'm sure my dad will probably go insane by this news, Yuzu will obviously be happy for us and as for Karin I'm not too sure about her

Rukia: In any case do you have a place it stay tonight? She asked

Ichigo: Yeah I do. They gave me a big house to live in. It's not too far away from here. I responded

Rukia: Oh okay well if you didn't I would let you stay over

Ichigo: I'm pretty sure that going too far after what just happened with Byakuya

Rukia: Well then goodnight. She said before getting on her tippy toes to kiss Ichigo

Ichigo: Goodnight. I said after pulling away and I quickly made my way to my house
