Chapter 1 - It's Finally Over

Chapter 1

Narrator P.O.V:

Ichigo stood there leaning on Tensa Zangetsu for support after delivering the final blow against Yhwach.

It's finally over Ichigo thought to himself

Aizen: Good job Kurosaki you finally took down Yhwach I image Soul Society won't leave you alone after this

Ichigo laughed at his remark

Ichigo: But I'm guessing it's back to Mugen for then huh? He asked still out of breath

Aizen: I don't really care honestly because I could easily break out of Mugen any time I want to. He said with a sinister look

Ishda: Kurosaki!!

Ichigo: Hey there Ishda

Ishda: Honestly Kurosaki you look like a dead man walking

Ichigo: Well at least I'm enough of a man to handle all of my wounds instead of giving it to someone else.

Ishda: Are you trying to pick a fight Kurosaki. He said adjusting his glasses

Rukia: Ichigo!!

Orihime: Kurosaki-kun!!!

Ichigo: Rukia. Orihime. Thank goodness your alright honestly I really worried about you guys----. Tsk tsk Rukia what was that for?!! Listen I'm happy to see you too but still!! Ichigo yelled after being tackled by Rukia and brought to the ground

Rukia: Baka!! Do you have any idea how worried I was about you? Like look yourself your a mess. Rukia cried

Ichigo's expression softened. He didn't realize how much Rukia really cares about him. He wrapped his arms around Rukia and returned the embrace

Ichigo: I'm sorry but it's kind of hard not to worry about you ya know

Orihime looked at Ichigo and Rukia not knowing how to feel. Obviously she was relieved that Ichigo was alright but seeing how much Ichigo and Rukia care for eachother brought over a wave of envy.

There just worried about each other it's like they love each other or anything right? She thought to herself

Byakuya: Ehem

They immediately turned towards Byakuya with their faces red with embarrassment because knowing Byakuya he going to take whatever he is seeing the worst way possible

Rukia: Oh Ni-sama. Rukia said while standing up

Byakuya looked at the 2 of them very carefully and decided that he will keep Ichigo alive for now since he cannot fight at this moment. But just for now

Byakuya: Nothing just came here to check on you. Glad to see you're doing alright. He said coldly and with that he flashed stepped out of there

Ichigo: Well then I should probably get going home since my folks are probably worried sick. He said standing up

Rukia: I'll come along with you

Aizen: Well then I'll also get going see you next time Kurosaki and don't forget in time you'll understand. With that he left

Ichigo: What's that supposed to mean? He asked confused

Ishda: Don't ask me cuz I don't have a clue

With that the 4 of them made it back to the world of the living. They said goodbye to Ishda and Orihime and made their way to the Kurosaki Clinic

Ichigo P.O.V:

Ichigo: Here goes nothing. He said while ringing the doorbell

Ishin: ICHIGO!! His dad yelled while tackling him since Ichigo didn't have the energy nor the strength to dodge

Ichigo: Stupid old man I'm happy to see you too but can't you see the condition I'm in!!! He shouted

Yuzu: Oni-chan!!

Karin: Ichi-nii!!

They said while also tackling Ichigo

Yuzu: You had us worried Oni-chan. Yuzu cried

Karin: Honestly Ichi-nii please promise me you won't scare us like that ever again. Karin also cried

Ichigo: Yea that's all good and all but can you please like get off me. Orihime did heal me but it still kind of hurts

Yuzu: Oh Rukia-chan I didn't realize you were there

Rukia: Yeah it's nice to see you too

With that we all went inside and had a nice dinner which Yuzu prepared. Honestly she is the best cook ever. After that me and Rukia went to my room to relax after such a long day

Ichigo: Aahh!! My body is so sore. Ichigo complained while sitting on his bed

Rukia: That's what you get for pushing yourself baka. Rukia retorted while sitting next to Ichigo

Ichigo: Well if I don't push myself how can I possibly get stronger. Ichigo shot back

Rukia rolled her eyes

Rukia: Honestly could you go one day without doing anything stupid or not worrying anyone? Rukia asked

Ichigo: Come on do I really make you worry that much?

Rukia face filled with anger at Ichigo's question

Rukia: Do you ever take into consideration the consequences of your actions or how others feel about it because I could tell you that when you went to fight Yhwach I was so worried and scared for you because I couldn't bear losing you! Rukia yelled as tears flowed down her face

Ichigo was astonished by what Rukia just said. Does Rukia really care about me that much? If so does she feel the same way towards me as feel towards her

Ichigo: The same could be sent right back at you Rukia. So you have any idea how I felt all the same you got hurt or all the times you were in danger because I too cannot bear losing you!! I yelled back

Rukia seemed surprised by my response

Silence formed between us then we looked into eachother's eyes and sort stayed like that for a little bit. Until we slowly leaned towards eachother, closing the gap between our lips. We closed our eyes as our lips were an inch away from eachother. Then they finally met

It was my first kiss and I'm glad that it was Rukia because for the longest time I've seen Rukia as more than just a friend. In fact I loved her. I loved her deeply. Now I can confirm that she felt the same way

We pulled away after what seemed like forever but in reality only lasted for a few seconds and looked into eachother's eyes again. Then I wrapped my arms her waist and brought her close

Ichigo: I'm sorry that I make you worry all the time but I do what I do because I want to protect you Rukia and I don't want to see you get hurt

Rukia: I know Ichigo but I can't help but worry and besides I don't want you to take on the burden of everything. I want to be by your side and I want to help you. She said while snuggling her head into my chest

Ichigo: I love you Rukia. I whispered

Rukia: I love you too Ichigo. She whispered back

With that we laid down as it was time to go to sleep and we cuddled against each other. We fell asleep knowing that we finally let out our feelings and we are closer than ever

How was this first chapter. I thought it was cute since Ichigo and Rukia after what was the biggest fight of their lives revealed their feelings for each other. Don't forget to vote and please leave your review
