Ichigo P.O.V:

Rukia and I made our way to Soul Society because for some reason Kyoraku wanted to see me. I don't know why but I'll guess we'll find out. We made our way through the Serieti and finally arrived

Ichigo: I thought the head captain just wanted to see me so why you guys here too?

Toshiro: How am I supposed to know. Replied coldly

It didn't take long for the head captain to arrive and the meeting commenced

Kyoraku: I like to thank all of you for showing up at today's meeting. Ichigo I know you're wondering why we called you here and we called you here because I would like to offer you the position of being the captain of the 9 division and I assume the rest of you captains have no objections right?

Kenpachi: If it means that I can fight Ichigo as much as I want then I'm all for it! He said charismatically

Toshiro: Although we never had a Shinigami Daiko become a captain before but Kurosaki has proved his usefulness to Soul Society so no objections here

I looked at Rukia and she seemed over astactic for me to offered the position of being a captain. I knew that if I really wanted to be with Rukia for the rest of my life I have become captain for that to happen

Ichigo: I'll accept the position with great gratitude. I said firmly

Kyoraku: Very well then. I'll let you go home to tell your folks and tomorrow we will officially give you the status of captain. This meeting is now adjured

With that the meeting ended. I walked out of the meeting with a smile on my face because being a captain meant I could see Rukia more often

Rukia: I'm so proud of you Ichigo. She said hugging me

Ichigo: Thank you Rukia. I said hugging her back

Ichigo: Anyways I should get going. I have to tell Dad Yuzu and Karin about this. I said letting go

Rukia: Well then when you're done come back and drop by my house okay

Ichigo: Alright then see you later. I said before kissing her forehead. Hopefully no one saw that

I quickly made my way back home and when I did I knocked on the door and was greeted by Yuzu

Yuzu: Hey there Oni-chan. Where is Rukia-chan?

Ichigo: About that can I come inside so I can explain everything

We sat down and I explained everything about how I'm going to be moving to Soul Society as a captain

Everyone: NANI!!

Karin: Ichi-nii are you sure about this?

Yuzu: Yeah Oni-chan being a captain I assume is a big responsibility right?

Ichigo: I know but the reason I accepted the position was because I just wanted to be closer to Rukia since I love her deeply. So sorry if my actions seem selfish but please understand. I said pleadingly

Ishin: It's fine Ichigo. If you already made up your mind there is nothing we can do about it. But please make sure to visit us once in a while alright. He said for once speaking a normal serious tone

Yuzu: But I'm going to miss you Oni-chan. She hugging me while tears were streaming down her face

Ichigo: I'll miss you too but just know your Oni-chan will always be there for you alright. I said softly while patting her head
