As blessings pour down on the land
Mother nature sends a chilling breeze
Across my neighborhood
As I sit on an armless chair
Biting my fingernails
While looking out at her masterpieceAs blessings pour down
There's another reason to give thanks
To our Lord GodAs blessings pour down
We won't be hungry
For every single drop
Reaches the root of life
To feed God's creationAs blessings pour down
I fight the urge to run outside
And let it flow down
A content soulAs blessing pour down
I push my hand out the window
To feel what
I haven't felt in days
A reason to enjoy
The life
I wished to eliminate
