How stupid of me
To go to sleep so late
I forgot about my responsibilities
Looking to my left at the wall
My to-do list stares at me
I graced the page with my handwriting
But never graced the tasks
For I've been lazy these days
I neglected my plants
The seeds that I grew
I neglected self-affirmation
I neglected the peace in me
I shall bring it back
Before the plants rot further
