Floyd Leech x dying reader | dont worry my little eel

(Y/n) Crewel was Floyd Leech's 'best friend', she is known the most annoying person in the College, she even annoys Floyd.

The only reason he stayed by her side was because he wanted to make a deal with her and take her somewhat entrancing (e/c) eyes and enchanting voice.

Today was the norm for (y/n), which is annoying the man whom she loved, Floyd and his twin brother.

(Y/n) actually only has a month to live, she was diagnosed with a condition shortened her life span the cause was her voice and eyes.

"Hey Floyd!!" (Y/n) yelled with her fake tone and expression, deep inside she was hurting.

"What is it (n/n)~chan?" He says smiling, I could tell that it was fake tho.

"Promise me something okay?" (Y/n) says extending her pinky, Floyd hesitates first but does the same.

"Promise me that you'll always stay by my side okay?....." I say smiling, I didn't notice that my tone changed.

"Sure?" Floyd says in a confused tone but none the less smiled.

Time skip

Readers P.O.V

It's been 28 days.... I have 3 more days to live, Floyd has warmed up to me, just a little bit.

I sat under a tree reading, I smiled sadly knowing that I couldn't live Floyd since I was going to die soon.

"Oh hey (n/n)~chan" I hear a familiar voice say. I look up to see Floyd smiling happily with stars in his eyes.

"H-hey!!" I curse at how I stuttered,  my condition was getting worse, because of how I used my eye sight and voice.

"What's wrong? You never stutter.." Floyd says with a different tone and furrowed eye brows.

"Nothing is!!" I yell and started fake laughing, that laugh turned into a coughing fit.

"(Y/n)!?" I hear Floyd yell in shock, he runs over to me kneeling and patting my back.

I looked at my hand after I stopped coughing, I saw blood. I smiled sadly I already accepted my fate.

"Are you okay!?" I hear Floyd yell in a tone I had never heard him with, I looked over to him, his face was full of fear.

I nodded and got up, "Gotta go see mah uncle kaaaay~?" I say with a fake tone, and fake smile, I winked and did the peace sign.

Before he could say anything I ran off.

1 day later....

I limbed over to the principal, he already knew of my condition, along with all the teachers, Divius was left out tho.

"(Y/n), I think you should tell him about your condition..." the principal says.

I just shook my head and limbed out, I was at the alchemy class door, I opened it and smiled.

"(Y/n) where were y-!?" I cut Divius off by saying "I got called in by the principal." I say my smile widening.

I start walking over to him but I blacked out.

Floyd's P.O.V

A few hours later

I was sitting on a chair, in a hospital room, it wasn't just anyone's hospital room, it was (y/n).... I knew something was up yesterday.

I learned about her condition, and how she said she wanted to spend her last days with the people whom she loved.

"F-Floyd?...." I heard a raspy voice say, it was (y/n)'s. I hugged her.

"Why didn't you tell me?...." I ask feeling the tears I have been holding back well up.

"It's because it would have been harder for me to leave...." she says still smiling.

"How could you smile like nothing is going to happen!?" I say finally bursting into tears.

"Don't worry my little eel.... I'm sorry and..." she says wiping the tears away.

She kissed me... and I automatically kissed back. The kiss was short but sweet.

"I love you Floyd...." she says before closing her eyes. I bursted into tears again.

"I-I love y-you t-too (y/n)..." I managed to say through my sobs.

The doctors pushed me out of the room.

And that's how I lost her... (y/n)... the women who I thought was just annoying, but in reality I fell in love with her.

But I lost her, on the day I found out I loved her.
