Chapter 28 // he did this

" What is wrong with you ?!?! " He exclaimed , clenching his fist .
I was afraid , but I shouldn't be .

" What's wrong with ME ?!?! What's wrong with YOU ?! " I Shouted back .

"I thought you loved me , " I said moving back a step everytime Reece came closer to me .

" you lied ! "

He took another step closer . I then took a step back , but this time , I tripped over a stool leg if I'm not wrong and the rest was blurry . I felt a huge wave of pain going through my head . I heard Reece calling out my name this time sounding worried . The rest was just , black .

- REECE's POV -
I was so angry at Erin .Her words ust hit me like a knife . Even though I was expecting it . I just wanted to hit her at that point ! But I didn't . I couldn't . I wouldn't . I went towards wanting to hug her but also push her to know how much it hurts ! But she moved backwards . And it caused her to trip , backwards hitting her head at the edge of the coffee table . Blood oozed out her head . I shouted for her to stay with me but I knew it wasn't too late . Her eyes shut but I know she's still in there. I couldn't just stand there and look at her ! I quickly opened the door and I Chris and his gang tripped over into the room . That means all this while , they were listening to the conversation I had ! But there was not time for that ! I told them to call the ambulance .

" What did you do to her ? " Charlie asked me , pissed . Charlie stomped into the hospital right after Dee rang him .

" I didn't do anything , she just fell , " I felt so guilty , I just had to cover myself up .

" Are you sure ? "
Looking deep into my eyes . I just nodded .

- CHARLIE 's POV -
After talking to Reece . I rushed into the ward . I saw Erin lying there with her eyes shut . I sat down beside her and took her hand . ' You're going to be alright . ' I whispered then kissing her hand .
I asked the doctor what happened . They said that she was going through a coma . She will be fine . But she will stay unconscious for weeks to even months . She will be able to wake soon ( I hope ) . How could Reece do this to her . I couldn't help but thought how my life would be with her in it . She will be my princess .

For the past 5 weeks , I have been visiting Erin . During school weekdays , I would get her flowers after school and stay beside her while I do my homework . When it's during the weekends I will stay with her from 8 till 7 . I would get her gifts everyday , rain or shine I had to be there for her. Sadly Reece , her boyfriend , only visited her twice . Twice I said . And he only spends 1/2 an hour here he barely bought Erin ANYTHING !!!

It's Saturday today and I'm staying with Erin (again) . When Dee came in .

" Hey Charlie , " Dee said waving at me while carrying Erin's stuff.

" Hi , " I replied smiling .

"Come sit , " I added .She then sat beside me after placing the large bag on the table .

I then turned around to look at Erin . She still has her eyes shut . She was beautiful . I couldn't help but think that .

"Hello ? " Dee said suddenly getting my attention . I realised I was daydreaming . Well that was embarrassing .

" Look , I know you love Erin ," She said looking at me with eyes full of confidence .

" N- no I don't , she's my bes- bestfriend ," I replied stammering in between.

" Really ? " Dee asked me widening her eyes .

" Y-yes "

" Okay, you gotta stop . It's so obvious ! Just now , you stared at her for a straight minute and forgot I was even here ! Your face when you see Erin and Reece together , it kills me ! You cannot sit all your life and keep killing yourself to think that you aren't with Erin . Please don't deny the fact , " She explained now frowning .

" Okay you got me , " I said raising my hand up showing her that I 'surrender ' .

" Good . But you do know Erin loves you right ? " She asked me looking deep into my eyes and expecting me to say 'yes ' . But I shook my head in confusion .

" She does ..."

" How do you know ? " sounding more desperate than I should have .

" She's my sister , " she answered . That answer was enough of an explaination .

"You don't have to always come here you know , she's my girlfriend not yours " Reece said chuckling at me .

I sat there looking at Reece . Just that .

" I know, Reece . But I have to , she means so much to me ," I replied now looking at Erin .

Reece suddenly grabs me by my t-shirt and slammed me against the wall .

" Erin is my girlfriend ," Reece said anger evident in his eyes .

" She 's my BESTFRIEND ," I explained not wanting to bring this argument any further .

" Look stop trying to get her , she's mine " rolling his eyes at me .

" Okay, Reece i'm sorry , what's gotten into you ? " I asked , what the hell happened to my best mate ?

He violently let go of my shirt and left the ward with his fist clenched .I followed Reece out with an intention to apologise .

" Hey , look i'm so-" I cut myself off when I saw Reece hugging another girl . Then leaving the hallway holding her hand. I knew that girl . She looked so familiar . It can't be ! No ....
