Chapter 30 // no it's me

Charlie dialed Reece and handed his phone to me. The phone rang for awhile untill somebody picked it up .
" Look Charlie , you don't have to apologise i'm okay , go and get yourself to that shitty Erin of yours . You want her ? Go get her , I don't want her anymore . She's dying anyways , " He said right after he picked the phone up . He chuckled after saying the words that stabbed me in the stomach and punched me in the jaw .

" Re-Reece ? " I asked trying my best to hold back my tears .

" Rina ? " He asked now sounding not as menacing as before .

" What did you just say about me ? Aren't you supposed t-to be my bo- boyfriend ? " I couldn't help it. I just let out a sob after speaking . I dropped the phone from my hand as I cried into the duvet that was wrapping me . Sounds of ' hellos' from the phone still could be heard . How could Reece do this to me ? Reece , my boyfriend ? Why ? One word , HEARTBROKEN . Every inch of my body shattered into pieces . I felt like my heart wasn't in place anymore , I just wanted to SCREAM !!!! But I didn't .
Charlie came rushing to me and sat beside me on the bed . He pulled me into his warm comforting embrace .
"Come here , don't cry , It kills me . What happened ? " I just shook my head telling him I didn't want to talk about it . After sobbing in Charlie's embrace I finally got myself back to speak .
" How long have I been unconscious ? " I asked still sobbing inbetween .

" About a month , " he replied saying it as if it was only for 5 hours . A month ?!

When I heard Reece's voice . I remembered his northern accent . That voice was like music to my ears . It made me happy . Thinking again , he was the one who accompanied me to the park everyday , am I right ? He was with my all the while . But why is he doing this to me ?

" It took Reece a month to leave me just like that ? " Asking him killed me , but he was the only one there to help me out .

" No , sweetheart , look at me " placing his hand on my chin raising my head up so I was looking at him . I gazed into his blue eyes as
he spoke , " You are the most beautiful lady I have ever seen , you are strong , smart and you deserve someone that appreciates who you are .And you have no idea how close the guy that wants to be with you is . "

Ummmm is he referring to himself ?
Well ...
Those few words just made my heart race . It was the sweetest thing someone could say to me in this heart breaking situation . How can I not be with this guy from the start ?

But I still couldn't get Reece off my mind . Someone help me .
