An Unexpected Twist

Y/N knocks on Team JNPR's dorm, flipping a coin across his fingers, smiling. Jaune opens the door, seeing Y/N and smiling.

"Oh hey Y/N, what're you doing here?" The blond boy asks, yawning mid-sentence.

"Hello. My name is Connor. I'm the Android, sent by CyberLife."

Jaune scratches his head. "Uhhh.... what?"

Y/N shrugs. "Nothing. Can I uhh... come in?"

Jaune nods, and steps aside. Y/N walks in, sitting on the floor. Ren was reading, while Nora was listening to music, and reading as well.

"Sooo... I'm guessing Pyrrha isn't here?"

Jaune shakes his head. "Nah. She said she got called to Ozpin's office, but she'll be back in a bit."

Y/N stands up, and walks to the door. "Thanks Jaune. I was going to talk to Pyrrha, so I'm gonna go look for her."

Jaune nods, and waves to Y/N, who closes the door. He vanishes and reappears in front of the elevator, seeing Pyrrha, who was standing, waiting for the elevator to arrive.

"Sup Pyrrha!"

Pyrrha jumps back, yelping, before looking at Y/N, who looks at her in confusion.

"What's up?"

Pyrrha breathes out. "N-nothing. Just gave me a fright is all..."

Y/N scratches the back of his head. "My bad."

The elevator bell dings, as the doors open. Pyrrha and Y/N enter, as the door closes, slowly heading up. Y/N pulls out a quarter, and begins tossing it between his finger, as Pyrrha watches, fascinated. The doors open, as Qrow leans against a pillar. A chair sits in front of Ozpin's desk, as he turns around, looking at both Pyrrha and Y/N.

"Ah, Miss Nikos. Please, do take a seat."

Pyrrha walks and takes a seat in the chair place in front of the desk. Y/N sit's next to Qrow, who ruffles his hair.

"Hey! I'm not a little kid, you know?!"

Qrow shrugs. "Eh, you look like one pipsqueak."

Y/N frowns, and crosses his arms, looking away. Ozpin takes a sip from his mug, before setting it down on his desk, turning to Pyrrha.

"Well, it comes as no surprise that they've chosen you to move onto the final round of the tournament. Your performance has been exemplary."

Pyrrha nods. "Thank you, Professor Ozpin, but... I would never had made it this far without my teammates."

"Personally, I think it's the other way around."

Pyrrha turns around slowly to see Qrow, who was leaning against a pillar, arms crossed.

"I'm sorry but... I don't think we've been introduced."

"Name's Qrow."

Ozpin nods, taking a sip from his mug. "Qrow is a... trusted colleague of mine."

Y/N shrugs. "Eh, more like a bird man lol."

Qrow grabs Y/N by the ear, who yelps.

"OW OW OW OW! I'M SORRY BIG BIRD! IT WAS JUST A JOKE!"

Qrow let's go of Y/N's ear, which was now bulging red. He clutches it, whimpering.

"Professor... if you don't mind me asking, why have you called me here?"

"Please... take a seat."

Pyrrha sit's down, as Ozpin clasps his hands together, slowly leaning back in his chair.
