Rosa's Affair

CHAPTER 13(a)

"Thank you?"

"Ahh...Ro..."

"Jacob! I feel like we are the creatures who are lurking in the dark. See the nightlife we are having..." I saw Jacob's brows knotted as he looked displeased by my sentence. "I'm kind of nervous," I said again and he ceased his brows even harder.

"Nervous?" he uttered. "It's okay Rosa, don't be nervous...I'm a good man," he said, patting my shoulder.

"Didn't you like the...dark...I mean...why did you suddenly become displeased with my..."

"You mean...creatures who are lurking in the dark?" he asked.

I nodded my head, but we both brushed the topic without having any discussion further. "I can't sleep!" I said to him honestly.

"Then how about..."

"How about..." I waited patiently sucking my lower lip.

"How about we watch a movie together or play some game?" he asked and I got irritated by his question.

"No need. Am going to sleep!" I answered angrily and closed my eyes turning the other side. After a second, I heard him giggling and anger fumed through my nostrils and ears. He knows too well and yet he is pretending... "It's not even funny!" I said cold-heartedly and pulled the blanket covering my embarrassed face.

My heart started beating loudly when Jacob ripped the blanket and forced his tongue into my mouth. I was desperate and he was driving our bodies into action. I wrapped my neck around his neck begging him to continue. I didn't know why, but somehow I started regaining my consciousness the moment Jacob Parted his lips from mine. I felt defeated and I wanted more, but the spark of heat from his warm mouth still energized each cell from my body and clouded my mind.

"Jacob! I'm going to kiss you now," I said and his face darkened. The tingling sensation increased in my lower abdomen and I covered his mouth with my lips muffling all my sound. Minutes later his face dipped into my neck, kissing me softly. I could feel his whole body drenched and the liquid started to seep onto me.

I don't remember how much time has passed, but when I opened my eyes, I could still feel the stars in my body, Stars which were exploding inside me. I'm sure Jacob felt it too. I turned and saw Jacob sleeping soundly next to me. I checked the time and it showed that it's my time to go back to my darling who is sleeping in the next door. I observed Jacob one last time wearing my clothes, he was sleeping like a baby hugging the pillow. His lower half was covered by the sheet, whereas his upper body gave me a full display of his hard muscles. The locket glittered in the dim light. I went near the bed and placed a small kiss on his forehead covering him properly. "You deserve it," I said to his sleeping form and walked towards the direction of my room.

Like a gust of wind I opened the door and entered inside our bedroom. I touched Kiran's forehead, still a long way to go. Kiran won't wake up anytime soon. I removed my clothes and changed into something more comfortable and walked nonchalantly towards the bed and made myself take a seat near Kiran. "Am not feeling sorry, and I am sorry for that," I said and kissed Kiran's forehead.

Kiran stirred a little, but again no movement from my coffee donar. "I wish things were different between us...I should have known all this before our wedding, but you know...I loved you and I still love you, that's why am sorry...I didn't try to find myself since I was in love with you," I said to the sleeping form. It's better this way, explaining to an unconscious form than a conscious one. In this way, I can speak clearly without stuttering or without any judgement arrows. "Am not regretting it and thank you for bringing Jacob in my life," I said closing my eyelids.

I took a warm shower and entered inside the room with a brown fluffy towel wrapping around my body. I took the mobile and the time read 9:50 am. Ohh...slept so long, I thought to myself and went near Kiran who is still sleeping soundly. What about our plans for today? I know Kiran won't wake up until noon. I took a long sigh debating whether to wake up my coffee donor.
