CHAPTER 14

Rose Love Paul

I woke up bright and early and went downstairs to the kitchen to find Jacob. He must be cooking breakfast for us. I saw him chopping the onions into thin layers.

"I have something to tell you..." I said hesitantly, pulling the knife from his hold. Within seconds I was standing in his place chopping the onions.

"Hmm? What is it?" he asked, taking his seat at the counter watching me creasing his eyebrows.

"Jacob! I don't know why you suddenly made me..."

"Rosa!" he clutched his hands tightly and saw his knuckles turn white from the pressure. "You are leaving on June 17. Am...not ready to waste my time arguing useless things."

"Jaco.."

"Our time is running out, Rosa."

I didn't know how to feel or react to the thought that I am going to lose my secret boyfriend.

"Rosa, I know I am going to get hurt...emotionally, yet I want to experience this love."

"Fine...so I presume you won't stop me either?"

"Yes! I won't stop you and when it's time, you can go back to your life with Kiran. After All...that's what you want, am I right?"

I was speechless but I nodded and smiled at him. When he said, he is ready to let me go, a slight pinch in my heart stopped me for a second.

"I'm sorry Jacob, but let me be selfish till June 17, okay?" I said and walked towards the dining table tearing myself away from him.

After finishing the food in complete silence, I walked towards my bedroom. Kiran was sitting in the bed with the laptop. We have decided to call it a day and rest for now. When I dipped my one leg in the bed, a faint smile crossed my beloved's face. My mind was wandering towards the insecurity zone again.

"Stop it!" I scolded Kiran and buried my face in the nearby pillow.

"What? I'm not even allowed to touch my lawfully wedde.."

"Okay!" I said sheepishly.

Kiran pulled the pillow from my hand and closed our distance. Not again!

"Why did you make me wait so much, I am waiting for you, can't you see..." Kiran sighed, rolling on top of me. "Why do you get scared every time I call you...we are married, remember? Adults who are married are allowed to do more than you can imagine. Rose! I want a mini us."

"Ahh..." I left my sentence in the middle. Now I can understand why Kiran took a day off from our plan.

"The weather is good and is covered with black, dark clouds. It looks like...it's going to rain any minute," said Kiran brushing my locks from my forehead. Kiran wrapped us with a thick blanket and I helped a little as we both were lying on each other.

"How about I make it up to you tonight?" I gave a suggestion.

"Why should we wait till night...when we have already started," asked Kiran and I saw us entangled with each other.

"Enough Rose. We've come this far now. Let's explore each other and..." Kiran licked the tip of my nose and my mind immediately went to Jacob, the way I licked his nose tip. All my attention was now on Jacob who was standing at the entrance of my body and soul.

Suddenly the rain started pouring bringing me out of my spell. Kiran was halfway through in exploring my body. Our clothes were discarded and lying on the floor and I don't even remember how Kiran did that, but this was not the first time we have abandoned our clothes together. I turned my head to the direction of the window and saw the waterfall and trickle down the glass.
