JUNE 10, 2018

Rose Love Paul

We booked a trip advisor to tour Isola Bella. It is one of the Borromean Island of Lago Maggiore in north Italy. Jacob gave space to me and Kiran which was well appreciated by my coffee donor. The island had a stunning palace and gardens. We argued every single step, but after all, it's my Kiran and how can I fight in the middle of this wonderful place. The Italian tour guide who gave us the tour of the Palace showed us absolutely beautiful rooms and many magnificent paintings and architecture. Afterwards, we visited the stunning gardens with a wide variety of plants and trees. Though the trip advisor guided us, at one point of time, he gave us our privacy disappearing from our sight.

Mother nature had sculptured every piece in Piedmont!

"Beautiful!" I said sitting in the soft green grass.

The air felt so bonny at the moment and I asked Kiran to take a seat near me. "Sit! Let's..."

"I'd rather sit in our bedroom than sitting on this itchy peril grass," said Kiran without giving an ensuing thought.

"Do you know...how many eyes haven't seen Piedmont yet! We are blessed with good luck and we should treasure the beauty in front..."

"Stop it, Rose! I got it, don't bring your stupefied opinions every single time, it's...annoying me."

"You don't...like this garden? You are the one who suggested us to..."

"I'm taking a small walk, alone!" said Kiran, walking alone leaving me behind in the cushiony grass.

"Hold on! I'm coming with you," I said, intervening our fingers together. Kiran was silent after that. What is this place exactly? The flame of love which I have for nature started burning my heart. The atmosphere was quiet and gloomy which brought doubt in me. Is it calm before a storm?

We took another two steps and then we heard a known voice shouting and snickering in our direction. "What's the newly married couple doing here? Ahh...got it!" Kiran and I were speechless for a moment witnessing the jackass in front of us.

"Jasper!" said Kiran, walking towards the donkey. "What are you doing here?"

Jasper's lips twisted and he walked to me without replying to Kiran. "Rose! Help me, honey."

"Ja..."

"Before I could relocate your neck from your body, run from here," said Kiran with an unsightly expression. "Believe me Jasper, I'll smack your face," threatened my trouble maker.

"Don't be nervous Jasper! Tell me what happened?"

"You...love-birds know right? People would always smile at me after looking at my charm..."

"Jasper!"

"Rose! I am staying at a hotel in Piedmont and...things happened..."

"What things?"

"Rose! I need a place to stay for the next three days, my dad had frozen all my cards and..."

"Don't tell me, you ran away from your home?" panicked Kiran. "Do you dare to rebel against your father Jas..."

"I don't have a choice," his impatient taunting voice was exceptionally loud when he said, he didn't have a choice.

"Did your dad bully you?" I waited for him to spill out the beans. He had an internal conflict which I could see right through him. He opened his mouth, but he swallowed back the words he was about to speak.

"Rose! It's that...fiancee of mine."

I was speechless.

"Jasper! Tag along with us...let's have a good time. Worries will be handled tomorrow. If you promise to enjoy it with us...then you are allowed or else..."

"I'm in!" smiled Jasper patting Kiran's shoulder. So the two friends would soon omit me from their circle.

The day was filled with more fun than usual as Jasper cracked jokes on his every footstep. Though I enjoyed it, I was a little confused by the happenings around me. Later we went to Jasper's hotel and bought his belongings along with us.

"So...you are saying, I can stay in that house, will that man agree?" asked Jasper in hesitation.

"Don't worry bro! You are not a freeloader, I am paying for you as well!" said Kiran.

"Should we call him and..."

"No need Rose!" said Kiran showing ill will towards Jacob. Even Jasper could sense the tension in the air.

"What happened at home?" I asked turning my notice towards Jasper. Though I didn't like the way Kiran acted, it was not the time for shouting matches.

"Home...sounds so new to me!"

"Jas..."

"I want to kill that cunning man for spoiling my life. That fiancee of mine...that odious witch, how could she do that to me, Rose? My own father disowned me from...but, She doesn't know me yet! She thought I am a cat, the kitty doesn't know she is playing with a tiger!"

When we heard the word tiger, both Kiran and I couldn't control our laughter. "I said stop. Both of you...please stop!" Shouted Jasper in displeasure. After fifteen minutes of the drive, we reached our destination.

"You both are staying in here?" asked Jasper viewing the outside look of the house.

"Go inside and you will know..." I said, taking his luggage in my hand. The idiot walked inside not caring about his goods and chattels.

"Had fun?" Jacob stood from the couch and his eyes immediately found Jasper. "This is..."

"This is Jasper, my...our friend, can he stay here with us for the next three days," I asked politely ignoring Kiran's threatening glare. Jacob watched me intently, he didn't care about Kiran nor Jasper a bit. I cleared my throat bringing his attention to the rest of the humans.

"Ahh...There is a spare bedroom, but it's small..."

"No problem!" Jasper waved his hand immediately and hugged Jacob. "Thanks man, you saved me...I owe you my life," said Jasper and gave a quick peck on Jacob's cheek. My blood boiled seeing the scene. I know, Jasper is not a threat to my current relationship with Jacob, but yet...thanks would be more than fine. Why does he have to kiss Jacob?

"Alright folks, I am tired. Need a rest!" said Kiran and walked in the direction of our bedroom.

"Where is my room?" asked Jasper, sitting on the couch leaning his both legs on the nearby table.

"Idiot!" I murmured.

"Will you help me to clean his room?" Jacob asked me pointing in the direction of Jasper who is relaxing without any worry in the world. Though the zombie heard it very clearly, he didn't move a muscle to help Jacob nor me.

"Sure, I'd love to!" I smiled at Jacob.

"You like him, don't you?" asked Jasper, eyeing the ceiling. Both Jacob and me didn't move a second watching him from our spot. Jasper turned his eyes from the ceiling to us. "What? Did I say something wrong? Why do you both act as if I had said something wrong?"

"Jas..."

"Oh Rose, you don't get attached with anyone easily apart from Kiran and...you have volunteered to help him, So...you like him, don't you?" asked Jasper giving a half-suppressed laugh on his own joke. It was not a joke, he had seen right through me within a fraction of seconds. This is why an individual shouldn't let their guard down in front of their dumb friends because they are the purest and cleaver ones, it's just they don't know it yet.

"He is a kind man, we should help him, besides...he is cleaning the room for you, don't make him angry," I took a seat near Jasper and punched his arm lightly murmuring the words in his ears.

"Got it! But...Rose, Kiran is a violent one. Don't forget it honey!" said Jasper and marched in the direction of his luggage.
