The teacher came in and took a seat. He was like 50 years old and had white hair. He was wearing round glasses and a suit. We got some sheets to fill out and Anna whispered a question into my ear.

„Miss Shumate is there something you want to tell us all?" he said and looked at Anna

Anna shaked her head and apologized

I put my hand on hers and told her she should just fill this out.

„This is disgusting. Stop it." he looked at me

I looked at him. A homophobic. Mh great. I got up

„What is disgusting about this?" i said and the whole class was looking at me

„girls loving girls is. Same as men loving men. It's not okay and now sit down" he responded

„It's disgusting to think like that. Gay rights are human rights. It's normal nowadays!" everyone was looking at me

A girl stood up too and raised her fist

„Gay rights are human rights!" she said as she put her fist up

The rest of the class got up too and started to say „gay rights are human rights". They said it over and over again. The teacher got up and left the classroom. Everyone was clapping at me. This was such an emotional moment. It's disgusting how some people bring others down for loving who they love. The girl that got up first was walking up to me and Anna.

„You two are cute together, don't listen to him." she said and smiled at us

Anna pointed at the free seat next to us and asked her to sit here. She grabbed her stuff and got down next to us. We talked for a while until the principal stepped in.

„I'm really sorry for the thing that was happening here. I will not tolerate homophobia here. Mr. Wilson won't teach this class." he said

Everyone was clapping and he took a seat
