AU- Human, they're all like best friends, Remy, Emile, Patton and Logan are roommates.

Emile loved helping people, that's why he wanted to be a therapist. He loved his job too. But sometimes it's overwhelming and by the end of the day, he was just exhausted.

Remy was sitting on the couch, watching Sleeping Beauty, eating popcorn when Emile walked through the door. He put his keys on the counter and sat down in the chair with a sigh. He rested his head on his hand tiredly.

Remy paused the movie and put the bowl on the table next to him. He pulled out his phone, searching through YouTube. He put on some piano music, put down his phone and stood up.

"Emile Picani..." He started, getting Emile's attention. "May I have this dance?" He asked, putting his hand out. A small joking smile spread over Emile's face. He rolled his eyes, but stood up.

"You may." He said, taking Remy's hand. They pulled their body's closer to each other, dancing ballroom style, Remy taking the lead. Emile rested his shoulder.

"Rough day?"

"I got yelled at 9 times." Emile answered tiredly as they swayed back and forth.

"Idiots." Remy said, making Emile laugh slightly.

"Nah, they're fine. It was just a lot." He said.

"Ya know..." Remy started. "It would've been really awkward if you said no when I asked you to dance." Emile let out another soft laugh.

"You always know just what to say, Rem." He said with a small smile.

"I'm glad." The danced quietly to the music. As the song approached it's end, Emile looked up to Remy.

He had taken off his sunglasses to watch the movie and they were still off, so Emile could see Remy's beautiful brown eyes that Emile could stare at forever. Their faces were very close... so close.

The last few notes played as Emile's face slowly got closer to Remy's. Their lips pressed together gently yet firmly.

They pulled away after about 10 seconds, staring into each other's eyes. That is, until, the door started opening and they raced to the other side of the room. Remy sat on the couch, hitting play on the movie, pressed against the arm rest farthest from Emile. Emile was sitting in a chair, his knees against his chest. Both of their faces were kind of pink.

"Salutations." Logan said as he and his best friend entered.

"Hey guys!" Patton said cheerfully. "Why are you guys all red?"

"No reason." Remy lied. "Hey, I'm gonna go to bed!"

"It's 8 o'clock," Patton said.

"I know!" Remy said as he ran up the stairs. He got into his room and slammed the door behind him, his face still red. He flopped onto his bed and screamed into his pillow.

Downstairs, Emile was still frozen.

"Remy left his phone down here." Logan said, looking at the phone on the table. "Emile, could you bring it up to him?" Logan asked. Emile blushed somehow more. "Emile?"

"Y-Yeah?" Emile asked.

"Can you bring Remy his phone?" Logan asked again.

"S-Sure." Emile said, taking Remy's phone. He walked up the stairs shakily. Before he gave Remy his phone, he put a sticky note on the phone.

Sorry
   -Emile

He slid it under Remy's door before going to his own room. He tiredly laid down in his bed, thinking of the warmth of Remy's body pressed against his, his soft, comforting voice, his beautiful brown eyes, and the feeling of his lips on his own.
