-2- Normal by Day

Midoriya's POV:

I stretched my arms over my head while I yawned, swinging my legs over the edge of the bed before standing up and getting ready for today, I grabbed my bag from the front hall and unpacked it since I forgot to last night. I threw my bunny outfit in the washing machine and packed my outfit for tonight, I packed my favourite one in hopes that man will come back. I should ask him his name... I thought while folding the costume and putting it in my duffle with anything else I would need for my shift. I checked the clock on the living room wall. Hmmm 9:30 AM... My shift starts at 6:00 PM so I have a while... I put my finger to my chin thinking about what I would do with my day. OH! I'll go to the cafe for a coffee then I'll see if Kacchan wants to hang out! I pumped my arm in the air while smiling. I threw the bag back in the front hall and ran to my room, I quickly got changed into a pair of light skinny jeans and a pastel green hoodie. I pulled on my favourite pair of red high tops and swung my apartment door open, I gently shut it behind me before sprinting down the hallway to the staircase. I jumped a few steps while going down the many flights. I pushed through the door blocking me from the street and started walking to the nearby cafe.

Once I made it there I opened the front door making a bell go off, someone came up from the back room and greeted me. I smiled at them while walking up to the counter.

"Hi what can I get you!" She said with a cheery voice, she was very pretty. She had long dark green hair and a quirky smile which suited her perfectly. She must be new here...

"Hi-" I couldn't finish a single word before someone came sprinting to the counter from the backroom.

"TSU! I told you if Deku comes in tell me!" It was Ochako, she was one of my closest friends other than Kacchan.

"Uraraka no yelling I already told you." Another worker came out, he had pointy red hair and shark-like teeth.

"Oh, hey Midoirya."

"Hey, guys! I'll have the same as always!" I said happily, these were my friends they always cheer me up. Ochako smiled and turns to start my drink, I heard the bell at the front ring signalling someone entering, all of us turned our head to the door to see who was coming in.

"Oh hey, Kacchan!" I smiled while waving to my best friend. He glared to me and waved once before coming up to the counter.

"Hey, Shitty hair. Black coffee like always." He said in a raspy tired voice.

"Hey! Babe, we talked about the nicknames!" He yelled back.

"Kirishima what happened to 'no yelling'." Ochako said while grinning.

"You win Uraraka." He says defeated with a sigh. I was still confused... Kacchan leaned over the counter so his face was in front of Kirishima's.

"Fine. Teddy Bear~" He purred making Kirishima's face burn red.

"Suki!!" Teddy Bear... Babe... Shitty Hair... Suki...

"OMG! You guys are dating!?!" I shouted while throwing my arms in the air.

"Kaccchhhaaaaannn why didn't you tell me!" I whined.

"Because you would do this Deku." He groaned while looking over to Kirishima with soft eyes.

"You two Kirishima I come in here like every week and I never heard about this!" He looked down ashamed.

"I know, but he asked me not to tell you so I couldn't..." I sighed but my mood was brightened as soon as Uraraka handed me my drink.

"Here you go! A chocolate latte with matcha chips and chocolate shavings!" I smiled and grabbed my drink giving her the needed amount of money plus a decent tip for her great work! I turned to Kacchan. Since he's here I might as well ask him now.

"Hey Kacchan, are you busy today?"

"Why?" He asked coldly, I know he seems rude to anyone who first meets him but he isn't really one for emotions...

"Well, I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out!" I gave him a closed eye smile.

"Sorry Deku I'm hanging out with Shitty Hair then going to the club, my shift is right before yours. Am I driving you home again?" I gave him a simple nod.

"Yes, please! I'm sorry I keep making you drive me everywhere!" I apologized.

"Shitty Deku don't apologies, I know what you're going through so I don't mind." It was as if Uraraka's ears perked when he said that.

"What is Deku going through?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, I laughed nervously and started backing up to the entrance.

"Nothing Round Face. Just stuff with work."

"Mmm Baby I gotta go see you at your shift~ Maybe pay for a private room~" Kirishima purred to Bakugou making a small tint of pink come to his cheeks, I knew he was a little shy about his job while I'm much more open about it.

"Wait Kirishima you know about his job? And your not mad about it? You don't want him to quit?" I asked confused, most of the time people don't like our line of work.

"Nah I love his job, even if I didn't I couldn't make him do anything he doesn't want to. I go to most of his shows just to see him in his sexy little costumes. I will admit I don't like the other people there but I know Katsuki's mine~" He teased.

"Kirishima stop flirting with the costumers, Kero." Tsu scolded Kirishima, he seemed to be looking out the window for a bit before snapping out of it.

"Right! Here's your coffee Baby, it's on the house~" Kacchan took his coffee and sat down at one of the seats while I walked out the door.

"Bye, everyone!"

"Bye!" The workers shouted in unison while Kacchan just grumbled something incoherent. While I was walking down the street it felt like there were eyes on me which is weird since I don't normally get recognized outside the club. I sped up to a light job on my way back to my apartment building. I heard footsteps behind me and I started freaking out, I moved into a run still holding onto my coffee, the shadow behind me followed but all of the sudden disappeared, it was as if something had grabbed them. That didn't stop me from running though, I ran all the way to my apartment and ran up the stairs, unlocking my door and shutting it tightly behind me.
