2. Y/n's Arrival

Y/n p.o.v

I couldn't stop thinking about it, i sent him the secured file two months ago! He better answer me or i will break into his office myself.

I've always wondered where that one girl went too, we served the same...well...everything. Ever since she and i left the Jaeger corps we never spoke again, she and i were practically best friends.

"Maybe i'll meet her again, one day" i said to myself.

I was interrupted from my thoughts when my private phone rang. I picked it up and immediately answered knowing who it was. "Hello. Y/n, is that you?"

"Who am i talking to?" I joked.

"You know it's me Harry, now stop fooling around y/n" Harry replied.

Y/n: "I know, i know, just making sure man, anyways, you're most likely calling me to inform me of your final decision of letting me join?" I asked.

Harry: "yes, and the answer to that question is yes...welcome to team rainbow y/n. Also, if you're wondering how you will be getting here don't worry, i have a black van with tinted windows being driven by a agent of ours scheduled to arrive at your home by 5:30AM tomorrow, you cant miss it, he will then take you to our private helicopter and our pilot will fly you in!" He shouted.

He must be very exited to meet me i guess.

Y/n: "Alright Harry, thanks for the info, i will look forward to meeting you and my fellow operatives tomorrow" i said ending the call.

NEXT DAY 5:00AM

Y/n p.o.v

I just finished packing my bags and putting my gear on as it was required to be on you at all times, unless you were on break. I had my helmet, it's attachment, my black tactical vest and coat, my (your color) tactical gloves and elbow guards to match my mask, my black combat pants that had (your color)knee guards wrapped around my knees, and my black combat boots. After i looked at myself in the mirror, the phone rang again signaling the driver was here, i left my home through my window locking it behind me even though i had nothing but a low quality tv in there and a bed. After that, I sprinted to the back left seat of the car making sure nobody saw me, which nobody did thankfully.

TIMESKIP TO Y/N ARRIVING ON THE HELI

Y/n pov

We were almost in proximity of the Rainbow base when the radio the Agent gave me went off.

"Hey y/n it's Harry, i'd like to let you know that when you get here you will be shown around by an operator of mine since most staff are busy or on break".

"Hopefully it's someone who isn't annoying" i thought to myself as the helicopter landed.

As i exit the helicopter a spetznav operative with a green helmet approached me.

Tachanka p.o.v

"I knew this would be worth it!" I thought to myself.

Harry wasn't lying this man is huge, even bigger than Sledge!

Tachanka: "Hello y/n, don't worry Harry told me your name, my name is Alexsandr it's great to meet you, you can call me Tachanka!"

"Likewise sir", i shook his hand and followed him into the building placing my items down for inspection also receiving a dorm number.

Tachanka: "Don't worry, they'll bring that to your new room, it's on that slip if you haven't noticed" He reassured.

Y/n: "Oh great i wonder who i'll be bunking with, please don't be a nuisance!" I accidentally said out loud.

Tachanka responded with a boisterous laugh.

Tachanka: "I like you y/n, i have a feeling me and you are going to get along just fine!". Then he asked "How old are you anyway?"

"23" i answered.

Tachanka: "23?!"

He sounded shocked!

Y/n: "yes i know its hard to believe but, i am serious". I reassured. Tachanka: "23 years of age and you already look like that? You are a lucky man y/n, anyways lets get on with the tour" he said .

He led me to a room that appeared to be a dining hall,

Tachanka: "This is the cafeteria y/n, it's where you eat food with other operators, bet you couldn't figure that out!" We shared a laugh.

After that he took me to the range.

Tachanka: "This is where you shoot bullets" He explained "noted" I confirmed.

??? P.o.v

I heard tachanka speaking to someone so I decided to hide behind a doorway and listen in.

Tachanka: "Alright y/n i'll introduce you to the operators tomorrow, have a good night".

Wait, y/n? That name rang a bell, i swear i served with him before. I decided to take a look at him, And yes, it was him, that height and familiar face sealed the deal, there was no denying it was him. I had a thing for him while we both served in the corps and i couldn't muster up the strength to tell him, so maybe this is my second chance? I was interrupted by my thoughts as y/n spoke again.

Y/n: "alright, i guess i will be heading to my dorm too then".

He was talking to himself.

"how cute, nothing wrong being a little nervous." i thought.

After sitting there for a few minutes, I decided to go to my dorm as well seeing as how tired i was running around the track all day. On my way to my dorm i thought about how i would introduce myself, he already has seen my face a few times and hopefully he will remember my name.

"Hello y/n it's nice to meet you, do you remember me? We served together, my names Layla if you have forgotten, but you can call me nokk." I practiced in my head.

Yeah, thats gotta do it, i wonder where his dorm is anyway? I can worry about that tomorrow, im beat.

I arrived to my dorm and I started to unlock my door.
