10. Training

(Two months after the interrogation)

Sledge p.o.v

I've been thinking about what y/n did to that man, and I am certainly not one for hurting people or killing anyone innocent, but that all could change once i know who they are or what they've done. If its something bad? Well that would make them no longer innocent. Y/n gave that man a gruesome and painful death, but he sure deserved it. I am actually on my way to go to see him for training right now...there he is outside his dorm, i'd better stop talking to myself!

Exit sledge p.o.v

Sledge: "Hey y/n, you ready for training?" He asked y/n, while giving him a fist bump.

You: "Ready as always Seamus, what are we doing today?"

Sledge: "I figured we would have a little 1 on 1 in the ring, what do you say?"

You: "Sure, i could use a little thrill, it's been pretty boring lately since Nokk has been helping grace out with...something."

Sledge nodded and motioned y/n to follow him, and a few minutes later they arrived at the gym. Once they got inside, they noticed about almost every operator was huddled around someone using the benchpress. The weight was placed back with a loud clang signaling whoever was using it was done.

Thermite: "Very impressive saif! Wish i was that strong!"

Oryx: "With a lot of training my friend, you'll get here one day." Saif said with a smile, that smile turned blank as he noticed y/n was watching him. Oryx got up and approached y/n putting his hand out towards him.

Oryx: "Hey y/n, i know we didn't really meet in good terms...and it was all my fault. You really got me good back then, and i wanted to say that I'm very sorry for attacking you for no good reason...do you think we can still be friends?"

Y/n took his hand and smiled.

You: "I don't see why not, but me and Seamus are about to have a match in the ring, your welcome to watch if you want!" Y/n, shouted causing everyone to look at him and cheer as they moved towards the ring.

Oryx: "Oh your damn right I'm watching that!" He said as he patted y/n's back. He walked towards the ring with sledge and y/n. Sledge and y/n crawled into the ring and sledge explained the rules.

Sledge: "Alright y/n, you can fight in any way or form you want, but just no hitting below the belt that's pretty much it...ok?"

You: "Got it, lets start!" You said as you heard a bell ring, signaling the beginning if the round.

You looked to the center of the crowd and saw nøkk, she lifted her gloved hand, and made a peace sign while tilting her veiled head to the side. You looked back to sledge and gave him a fist bump out of respect. Sledge threw a left jab, but you dodged it, and returned the favor by landing a kick right on his face which dazed him. You took the opportunity, and landed a few jabs on his face, but when you threw a left hook he ducked and tripped you onto the floor with his foot.

He then jumped on top of you and starting hitting both sides of your head, which caused you to hold your head in an attempt to block him. The crowed cheered and screamed, you weren't going down without a fight. Seamus started to punch the side of your stomach, so you responded by pushing him off of you and onto the floor.

Sledge: "Damn your good y/n, bet you couldn't do that again!" He laughed, as you both got up. "He has no idea whats coming to him" you thought, as you pulled your arm back with the strength that you have been holding back the entire match, sledge dodged, but way to early.

You were done channeling your strength, and released a nasty uppercut that hit seamus right in the jaw and sent him flying to the other side of the ring and right onto the floor. He couldn't get back up, which meant you won, oryx then climbed into the ring and took your hand lifting it up. The crowd cheered your name, and there were a few whistles heard throughout the room. Nøkk climbed into the ring and ran up to you, jumping into your arms.

Nøkk: "I just knew you would win that fight babe, but i've been thinking, and i think we should start spending more time together...why dont we head back to our dorm and watch a movie on the couch?"

You: "I'd love to baby, but uhh, first...let me just see if Seamus is alright. I might have got him too good with that uppercut." Y/n said putting nøkk back down. Sledge overheard them and sat up.

Sledge: "Y-yeah, I'm good, just really dizzy right now. Go have fun you two, im just going to lie...back down now." Sledge said as he fell back down onto the floor.

Nøkk took y/n's hand into her own as they walked out of the gym ready to spend the rest of their day together.

(Authors note: i noticed i've been leaving Nøkk out of the story a lot so next chapter will be all about her and the reader. Im going to bed now because im fuggin tired...next chapter will be longer if im not as tired as i was tonight and finally let me know how bad or good the story is so far dont worry i wont cry.)
