Ever since she was little the stars always made her feel better when she's down. And everyday for the last fours years Mina sat on the outskirts of the beach away from everyone to watch the stars with nothing but the sound of crashing waves in her ears.

Mina breathed out a sigh as her mind cleared and all her pain washed away. It was times like these that Mina looked forward to in the past four years since her accident. The calming silence that drowned out her worries and she can find that one moment of peace.

But like they say all good things must come to an end and that was proven true when out if nowhere a volleyball smacked her in the back of her head.
With a yelp Mina was forced forward and found herself face first in the sand before she knew what was happening.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry!" A bright voice filled with panic squeaked as the figure ran towards her. Mina sprung up from the ground and spun around to look at the figure repeatedly bowing down while saying something in a foreign language. From their actions she concluded that they were apologizing.

"A-ah, it's ok" Mina stuttered blushing as the person,who she identifies as a male, looked up with an apologetic look wiped across his face. "Just be c-careful next time"

"Eh? Nani?" She watched as the boy muttered to himself, "I don't understand a word she said"

Realising the language barrier, Mina awkwardly stretched out her hand and muttered to him with a her face turning completely red, "Mina, Mina Grace"

Silence ensured and just when she was about to retreat in embarrassment a surprisingly warm calloused hand grabbed on a shook hers.

"Hinata, Hinata Shouyo"

And like fate would have these two youngsters met in what could be called a journey towards friendships, hardships and what might be scene as love.

After a lot of rewriting I've finally written the first official chapter to book one of my Haikyuu Black Jackals series, Ways Of A Ninja and I'm kinda proud.
