__Mabel's POV__

After the spa, I relaxed in my room, wearing my white shirt and jacket. I didn't wear shoes, however. Who wears shoes in a room where the floor is a large carpet?

Since back at Gravity Falls I wore a different sweater each time, then I decided that since this summer I wore jackets, each jacket would be different. When we arrived, I wore pink, then the next day I wore purple, then today I'm wearing beige with multicolored splatters on it.

(If you know, you know)

I sat on the bed and read a book, I decided to read one that I found in the study. It had a black cover and the story was about this kid and his friends chasing a demon in an apartment. There was also a cult involved. Despite being a big book, it was only five chapters. The chapters were long though.

As I read, Dipper was also on his bed reading. He read those history books while I read simple fiction.

After a while, I asked him where he was at.

"I'm in the middle of the war. Last night I read how it started, with the wizards and stuff." He explains.

" Cool! Can you explain it all to me later when you're done?" I ask him.

" Why don't you just read it yourself?"

"Cause I'm not a non-fiction person." I simply reply.

"Okay then. What about you? How's your book?"

"Great, but it only has five chapters, but it has a really good story," I tell him.

That's when queen Toriel came in.

" My children! Just so you know, we're having dinner at a restaurant tonight!" She says. "Lunch is almost ready though, let's say ten minutes." She finishes as she closes the door, leaving me and Dipper in the room.

Ten minutes passed, me and my brother left our bedroom and walked to the dining room. As usual, everyone was there. As we sat down, Toriel greeted us.

" I saw you reading a book Mabel! What was it about?" She asks.

"The book was called Sally Face. It's about this guy named Sal Fisher and he-" I was interrupted by Frisk who pointed to Chara.

"Chara knows the guy personally." She says. Chara, not wanting all the attention, covered her face with her hair, and continued eating.

"The author?" I ask.

"No silly! Sal." Frisk tells me.

I gasp as I drop my fork.

" You serious?!" I exclaim, shocked. Frisk nods proudly.

" I'll explain to you later after lunch," she tells me.

Dipper paid no attention to what happened. He ate his food normally and instead looked at Chara curiously. This reminded me, we have to hang out sometime! After Frisk tells me the thing after lunch.

As lunch was finished, Frisk grabbed my hand and we ran away from everybody else. Dipper was fine with me being away for a bit.

She took me to the lounge this time, and there was a mysterious staircase there. Which hinted to me that the castle's height was large, so there has to be other rooms!

After climbing up, there was a door with a star pattern on it. Frisk opened it and as I enter, I admire the room. It was an observatory! There was star maps and binoculars and telescopes! But there was this strange shelf with paint bottles on it. they were named with labels.

"What are these?" I ask.

"Paint bottles silly!" Frisk says.

"I know but something feels special about them.." I tell her. Frisk approaches me and eyes the bottle, despite having closed eyes.

"Believe it or not, these bottles of paint can open a portal to other universes, both media and indie, including AUs." She explains.

(I finally found a name for the cartoon universes, I refuse to call it cartoon)

" Wow." I gasp in amazement.

"These were given to us by a friend from an Alternate Universe." She says, taking the pot form my hands. The labels are what to identify which universe you're going to." Frisk continues.

"What about the Indies and Medias?" I ask.

Frisk smiles softly and opened her mouth to once more explain the concept of the universe and stuff.

"Indies are people/creatures that live in an Indie universe, an Indie universe is dangerous and creepy, a media universe is the opposite, it's appropriate enough. The Media are people/creatures that live in those kinds of universes. What's unexpected, is that the Indies know about the universe and stuff, while the Media know nothing." She laughs as she finishes her explanation.

"If you want to know what happened in the Indie universes, we have stories recounting them in the study," Frisk tells me as we walk out of the observatory and back to the hallway.

"Thanks, Frisk, I'll be sure to read them all before the end of summer!" I exclaim excitedly.

We leave the lounge and I return to my bedroom where Dipper was. I wave bye to Frisk and jump on my bed, grabbing the book and continue the story. But i wanted to make sure I wouldn't get too into it. We're going to a fancy restaurant, and I want to make sure I look good! Good thing I went to the spa this morning!
