Chapter 6

My brothers and I skipped school for the next week. Why? Well we had problems we had to deal with.

Problems back home. We had to go back to deal with our uncle for one last time.

"Finally back. Thought he'd never leave." Ayato complained. "Hey pancake come here I'm thirsty."

"Ayato." She mumbled in fear. She hated that we fed on her but what could you expect.

I simply rolled my eyes. Sighing heavily I walked to my room to get some sleep before we head out to school again.

Soon enough father will be opening a night class at the school we are enrolled in. Hes planning on using his power, wealth, and influence to open a night class for us. Once he does more vampires will come out here.

Then we wont have to hide. Except this time the mortals can't be harmed unless they work for you.

By the time I woke up the next day it was after school. My brothers and I had yet missed another day of school. So that'll be 8 days of missed school. Yeah sums it up. We were gone for a week and a half.

"Hey Reiji I'm heading out to the sohma house." I mumbled after I got showered and ready for the day. He nodded to me. "Anyone want to come?" I asked curious.

"Sure pancake and I will join you." Ayato said dragging Yui behind him as smirked.

"Well if little bitch is going I shall too." Laito said smiling seductively.

"Me too I want to see that cat spirit's true form." Kanato said excitedly.

"Shuu?" I asked looking over to him. He opened his eyes but didn't reply. Just stood up and walked over to the door to head out first.

"Guess that means he's coming too." Ayato said chuckling a little. "Does that mean Reiji is staying here alone?" He asked to no one in particular.

"If Shuu is going I am too. Someone has to keep that dead beat in line." He said hatefully as he glared daggers into the back of his head.

I didnt reply but followed them silently.

Instead of running we walked silently through the woods over to there house. It didn't take us long to reach it though.

"Wait I hear something." Reiji whispered. We were on the edge of the forest and the sohma house. We were in far enough that they couldn't see or hear us.

Of course Ayato had to cover Yui's mouth so she wouldnt accidentally make any noises and give us away.

I had a bad feeling about this. But I'd soon find out why. There was no one outside the house but they were home. Well as far as we saw it was Shigure, of course, Tohru, kyo and Haru.

Where's momiji?

We tuned our ears carefully so we could listen.

"Wait you're saying that Momiji hasn't come back from seeing Akito?" Shigure asked skeptically. If my heart had a beat it would've stopped at that sentence.

Immediately my eyes turned a deep blood red. Yes I was that mad. And from looking around at my brothers so were they. But why?

"Where's the sohma estate?" Reiji asked silently. I nodded my head to follow me. They didn't say a word just followed.

It would be too late if we waited for Haru to find him. I hoped at least we'd get there in time.

It was dark by the time we reached the estate. So it was easy for us to get in and stay hidden.
