Chapter15

2 years later

Momiji should be in his last year about now.

I had been watching him from afar. He knew this. But he not once called for me. He always stuck to Tohru's side.

She was now off with Kyo dating. Yuki had started dating some girl from the student council team. And Haru was back with an ex of his.

But they all had finally broken there curse. The clan head is now living with shigure happy and as a woman now. She gave up being the clan head. So now the sohmas were doing as they pleased.

And momiji. My feelings for momiji hadn't changed. They were still fully there. I just hoped when he saw me again he would feel the same. Over the course of these 2 years I had grown to notice and understand what they were. It was love.

He dated through out these 2 years but they all broke up in a short time. 

It was then coming up to the end of his school day. The beginning of winter break for his last year. I had sat under the tree waiting for him to notice me. I had my back to him as the bell rang. I didn’t have a jacket on as it wasn't cold to me.

I saw him passing by going to his locker and admired him. He had grown taller. He was just a little below my height. He was more handsome then before. Not this cute shy adorable kid. He was a tall handsome teenager.

I turned my back. I was wearing my normal clothes. I hadn't changed my appearance. I was hoping he'd still recognize me.

"Subaru?" I heard a soft deep voice speak up with skepticism. I slowly turned around with my normal serious face.

My hope vanished as it wasn't Momiji that called me. Rather it was Haru.

"Hey." I replied simply. I turned around to face him to formally greet his girlfriend.

"Hi." She replied seriously. He smiled brightly and started chatting away. Asking me how my brothers and I were doing. And why we never went back to school.

"We're all the same and we go to night school." I answered. "You understand that my father mr. Sakamaki had leaked out our secret so we aren't in hiding anymore. However it does get annoying when everyone you meet is a fan." I rolled my eyes.

Just as luck would like I heard a few squeals. Making me cringe visibly as my hearing was sharper then normal.

I turned around a glared at the girls. They didn't cower away, rather just kept their distance.

Since my father was so famous and were his sons we were as well. I hated it. I rather preferred hiding.

"Damn I prefer people didn't know about us." I mumbled irritated. Haru just chuckled at my frustration.

"We saw you all over the news. You guys started the night school here. It's no wonder your famous. You guys are extremely good looking." He winked. His girlfriend didn't say anything. Which gave me the idea that she never knew what happened between haru and me two years ago.

"How annoying." I answered crossing my arms. "Sadly the mukami brothers come here too. But ever since the death of there sadist brother they haven't tried to take Yui from us."

"You keep a human girl with you?" His girlfriend asked frowning. She didn't like the idea but she kept any further comments to her self because of a jab from Haru. He reminded her of who exactly she's talking to. Now that we are out in the open we don't hide our thirst.

But it is very rare for us to come out in daylight. Since we have school and most of our activities take place at night we're usually sleeping. My brothers are currently sleeping but I wanted to see momiji. I wanted to know his plans for winter break. If he was going anywhere.

"Subaru is that you?" I heard a soft smooth voice suddenly appear behind me. Along with a gentle hand on my shoulder.

I was sure this time. It was Momiji. I was nervous to turn and see.  But when I did my breath was taken from me.

"How's it goin'?" I asked turning sideways. My blood felt like it was boiling from excitement. However I never let my emotions show through.

On the inside I was freaking out and blushing at the sudden closeness but my exterior was normal and serious.

Haru smirked obviously seeing right through me. "Hey little rabbit." He greeted his cousin. "We were waiting for you."

"Really? " Momiji asked surprised. He obviously wasn't ready to greet me due to his surprise.

"Was just passing through and decided to see how you guys were." I lied. Haru's smirk went down to a frown. He knew, I was just glad no one else but him and his girlfriend caught on.

"Oh well were better. Tohru broke our curse, so we can hug girls without transforming." He said with a smile. "Isn't that great?"

"That's great Sohma." I answered formally. That made him frown. He was curious and sad that I was talking to him formally instead of using his given name.

After all where we come from we use first names formally and as friends. It just depended on how you approached the person.

They, however, knew this. So I guess this hurt his feelings. Well I didn't care. He hurt mine just now. Whether it was by accident or not he should have remembered.

If he didn't, which he was true, it meant I wasn't that important to him.

"Oh my gosh! Its the prince!" I heard a few squeals. I closed my eyes in irritation. I had hoped that at least that would stay a secret. Guess since your father was the vampire king for 2000 years it would get out sooner or later.

"Wait what?" Haru asked breathless eyes going wide. I knew exactly what he was thinking. He had sex with the youngest prince of vampires.

"It's exactly as you heard." I said sighing heavily. I ran a hand through my hair, putting the other in my pocket.

"Can we please get a picture? " one girl asked, well she more or less pleaded. Irritated with momiji I decided to do it just to see if I would get a reaction. If I did it meant that he subconsciously still wanted me.

"Can you sign my chest?" Another asked pulling down her shirt showing cleavage. I sighed but kept a straight face.

"Of course." I walked over to them. They were positioned halfway in the middle of the road. Seeing an oncoming car I used my speed to grab them and bring them back to the spot I was previously standing.

I wanted momiji to have front row seats. I inwardly smirked. I was going to enjoy this. It's not everyday the Sakamaki's come out.

I gladly signed her chest near the center as low as I could. "Guess since your father is over 2 thousand years old the families bound to get out. Now isn't that right?"

"What a bother. Subaru do you really have to do this now?" Reiji lectured suddenly appearing. He made more girls squeal. The rest of my brothers appeared as well. 

"Why do you have to come out in day light?" Shuu asked in a bored tone. We were gathering a crowd. However they were smart enough to keep there distance.

"Signing chests now Subaru? " Laito asked in a teasing tone appearing on my left. He had his arm around my shoulders ignoring the Sohmas.

"You're such a sadist little brother." Kanato teased with a smile appearing on my right.

"Been awhile." We heard the voices of the ones we despised the most. I practically growled scaring all of our fans away.

Thank God they left. I was losing my mind. Why would father do this?

"Mukami." I heard Ayato mutter out venom lacing his voice. You can see the hatred in his eyes. He's the one who hated him the most. He took Yui from us.

And if he even touched any of the Sohmas I'd kill him personally myself.
