Chapter 8

"Kanato?" I said loudly as I knocked on his door. He didn't answer so I just walked in.

Hes not here. Must be playing with his wax dolls.

"Come." I ordered walking into his closet.

"Are you sure it's ok to be in here?" Momiji asked looking around.

"It'll be fine." I said grabbing a shirt that will fit him. Soon as I found one I handed it to him. "Come." I waved them out the door. "Dont change in here."

"Where now?" Tohru asked walking up next to me.

"You're getting bold." I said looking down to her with a serious face. She just smiled nervously. "That innocent girl act wont work on me." That's when her smile disappeared. "But to answer your question we're going to Yui's room."

"For clothes?" She asked. I could feel the worry and anticipation coming from the boys behind me.

"Yes. You can't eat dinner in a school uniform. Reiji wont allow it." I said coming up to her room.

"Oh." She answered simply.

I didn't knock on hers though. Which made the sohmas gasp.

"You can't just walk into a girls room." Tohru yelled. Frowning angrily. I whipped around and held Tohru by the neck and pinned her to the wall.

"I can go wherever I want and do whatever I want. She is a stupid mortal. A walking blood bank that was sent to us for this very reason." I answered. Dropping her and walking to her closet.

"Yeah we can do what we like with her." Ayato said smirking in the doorway.

"We take her in more ways then one." Laito smiled sitting in her vanity chair.

"It's fun." Kanato said laughing from her bed.

My brothers suddenly showing up surprised the sohmas. Making them run up close to me. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

Like I'd protect them. Maybe only momiji. I still want to taste his blood.

"Here take this and let's go to my room so you can change." I said handing momiji clothes.

I gestured for them to follow. They listened of course. Most likely not wanting to get bitten by my brothers.

As we entered my room they changed. Of course tohru changed in the bathroom. When they were done I decided to lead them to dinner.

"Dinners ready." I said as they got comfortable in their clothes. I headed towards the dining room for dinner.

Dinner went by as it usually did. Quiet. Not one of the sohmas said anything. About an hour later Reiji released us.

I walked out and headed towards the balcony that kanato likes to sit on to sing. Not hearing them follow.  I sighed relieved.

Maybe they went exploring.

Little did I know Haru and Momiji were listening. The others were probably in the game room learning how to play pool or darts.

"Hey." I heard Ayato's voice come out from behind me. Turning around I saw he was alone. So I turned back around and leaned against the stone rail and watched the dark night sky lighten up by the moonlight.

"Hey." I said as he joined me.

"You seem down. Your not your self. You are usually serious or angry. Not down. Why?" He asked curiously. I side glanced him to see him watching me with a frown.
