Being a Diamond

Chapter 7

{Okay, I was going to create a special but idea juices kept coming so instead I will create more chapters and put the special aside for people don't want to talk to Era/Error from the future. Anyway, I got the idea for this book from MikkiMausu. She has wonderful ideas that too which I'm filled with lots of ideas. Also, you may want to search up what bluebird mean. ~*(Era/Tri Diamond's pov.)*~

Sighing tiredly did I finally escape the diamonds that now argue in the room that I once was. I have only been here for a day or less and yet chaos already followed and made its way into my home. Again. 

Rubbing the spot between my eyes in an attempt to vanquish the headache that comes but it did not yield but instead soften from the ministrations. 

Mentally shaking my head I walked the hallways to the gardens that are likely full of snow. I probably came during early winter but late fall judging from the deep of the snow and even from people talking. I may not know the importance of months and time but I knew my four seasons. Even though the Underground was confusing as fuck. 

As I walked by the gems, humans, and some monsters did I see that everyone was preparing for something. It looked to be a ball was going on tonight. Some women were even giggling when they saw me. I felt dread for some reason. 

Ignoring the babbling did I finally see the double doors to the probably winter wonderland. Both double doors were completely glass except for the handles to which were a crystal like substance. When I went to open the door did a woman open the door for me with a smile. 

"Here let me get that for you."

Turning towards her that I find that she was in a color scheme that matched me for some odd reason. Her clothing were red, blue and black with her skin pale but I knew that she must be called a Pearl for one hanged on her somewhat chest area. 

She looked capable. My old Nightmare would love her. As I stepped through the doorway did I see she was about the leave so I called out to her. 

"Excuse me?"

"Hmm?"

As she looked to me I gestured to the outside and voiced what I wanted. 

"Would you come with me for a second?"

"Oh, okay!"

She skipped to me and I couldn't help but feel attached to her. 

[Timeskip brought to you by a description: Error now wears a red shirt with a black trench coat with the inside a yellow with the outside fading to blue, black pants, black combat boots, his gem in the middle of the chest area where the diamond is upside down(Like Pink Diamond's from Steven Universe) that fades to red then yellow and finally blue. His tear  marks looking more intricate along with being darker in color.  

Purple/Nightmare wears a long sleeved purple shirt with a jacket that is a darker purple. The jacket outlined in silver with the symbol of the Moon in silver on the left outside breast area. Wearing lilac pants that reach the ankles and dress shoes. On his head sits a circlet with the symbol of the Moon. His diamond on the back of his left hand that is shaped like a typical diamond.  

Gold/Dream wears a golden shirt with a white sun printed on it. His jacket a yellow with lighter yellow fluff around the hood area and outlines the zipper area. A clasp of the Sun holding the jacket together. Blue ripped jeans that reach the ankles and regular tennis shoes. Upon his head sits a circlet that wraps around his skull. On the back of his right hand sits a golden diamond in the shape of a regular diamond. ] 

We soon stood in a garden that was covered in snow. I was right, it looked like a winter wonderland. 

As we walked around did I finally start to talk to the other gem. 

"What is your name?"

"Oh! I'm a Pearl so I really don't have a name since there are other Pearls out there."

I turn towards her to see that she was frowning lightly. She must really be bothered by it, why don't I give her a name?

"Do you want a name?"

"Oh, yeah I do, its one of my many dreams!!!"

"What about Astra?"

"Astra?"

"Yes, Astra means Star."

"Astra, hmm? I love it!!!"

I smile lightly as she bounced around the place with a vigor that I saw around Blue. I quickly shook my head as I thought about the person I saw as a brother. Now was not the time to have a breakdown. 

I continued to smile as I watched as she interacted with everything. Animals were coming towards her like she was a princess. Chuckling at my thoughts I felt something flutter onto my head. 

When Astra looked towards me she looked ready to laugh as I felt something just settle on my head again. 

Astra pulled a contraption out of her hand and clicked something that let out a flash. Blinking away the black dots in my eye sockets did she show me a picture. Oh! It was a phone!

It showed me in my new outfit with two bluebirds on my head, snuggling each other. I let out a huff as I tried to shoo off the bird but I could feel them settle back on my head.

Ignoring the new additions did I decide to continue on my quest to look through out the garden. Astra still looked ready to laugh at me. 

Actually she was laughing as she let out guffaws of laughter into the air without a filter. 

I couldn't help but smile at the sound she made. 

Just what the hell was wrong with me?
