His cold, blood red eyes stared into me. It haunted my thoughts as the day to finally face him crept ever nearer. With Celeste back, the Ghost Crew felt renewed. I was glad to have another Jedi to fight alongside me and although no one could replace Kanan... it was nice to know that someone would still be here if my last plan was put into place. Someone to take my place. My heart ached at the thought of leaving them behind, but I guess that was the price to pay for freedom.

Nothing set in stone yet, Ezra. Anything could change, maybe it won't even have to come close to that. I thought, I smiled down at the Loth-Cat in my lap, I had to not think about it too much. Leaving everything behind. But those thoughts plagued my mind, so much so that sleep was hard to come by.

Two days from now. Two days from now would be the day we would fight for our lives, fight for Lothal, for Kanan, for the Jedi, for everything. My backup plans were to keep one step ahead of Thrawn. Just back up. Everything's going to work out fine. I thought, stroking the Loth-Cat as an idea came to mind.

"C'mon, Starship, we have a little work to do for the 'just in case'."
