Starship followed me through the ship, prancing around happily. Ezra told me to take the day off from training so I could get the rest of my stuff out of the cave. Like the ammo I had stored there, among other things.
"Ready, Starship?" I lowered my arm out to him, in a storm of purrs, he climbed up to my shoulder. I slid down the ladder, waving a goodbye to Hera before trekking out into the fields.

The entrance to the caves blew cold air at me from the depths. Everything was exactly where I left it, my TIE fighter and speeder laid there, untouched. I unhooked my saber and held it out in front of me, running through the cave systems. I wanted to get in and out of here as fast as possible. Suddenly, a loud bang echoed through the cave, making me freeze in my spot.
It's probably just the wild Loth Cats. I thought, trying to ease my own mind. As I was coming up to my former living space in the cave, the noise became louder. Crashing and booming.
Okay, maybe not wild Loth Cats.
The noises twisted into voices, speaking in harsh whispers.
"We're supposed to be spying on the Rebels!"
"We are! This was the cave that the Jedi lived in." I pressed my back to the cave walls, my heart racing. Spies. I knew that I had to take them down or else they would be able to report back to Thrawn. The spies are only a little ways away... I won't be able to come from behind. I tiptoed through the caves, the gravel crunching underneath my boots. Hopefully the noise will startle them.
"Shh! Someone's coming! Get your blasters ready!" Didn't scare them! Didn't scare them! Taking a risk, I ran towards them, two stormtroopers stood there, one with an orange shoulder pad, signifying he was a commander.
"Blast her!" The commander yelled, I was immediately in a storm of blaster fire. The blasts I deflected bounced off the walls of the cave. I leaped in the air, doing a tight corkscrew, I cut their blasters in half. Landing with a thump behind them, I took apart the lightsabers. Pointing one blade at each of their throats.
"Don't you dare think about moving." I growled, they slowly shifted their hands up in a surrender. Bringing out my blaster, I gave them both a quick shot to the back. Both of the stormtroopers fell flat on their faces, unconscious.

Within minutes of our force connection, Ezra, Rex and Hera came to the caves.
"Are you alright?" Ezra asked,
"I'm fine. I guess I'm just now seeing how Thrawn operates." I paused, images of the blue man in the hologram coming to mind, his malicious red eyes staring coldly into me. Maybe he didn't have the gift of being a force user, or a trusty lightsaber at his side, but sometimes, wits were just as dangerous as a blade or blaster.
"But it just makes me more determined to defeat him and to free Lothal." I said, my resolve was rock solid, I wasn't going anywhere until Lothal was free.
