I stood besides fellow Jedi, Ezra Bridger as Thrawn appeared directly in front of us. My helmet was tucked safely under my arm, not doing anything to hide my face under it.

"Governor Pryce is our prisoner, and we have complete control of the Imperial Dome, with every trooper pilot and officer trapped inside. You failed, Thrawn. Leave Lothal and we might let your troops out before we blow the dome to pieces."

"Are you quite finished?" Thrawn asked, Ezra's confidence melted away to a look of confusion.

"If you truly wish to save Lothal, Commander Bridger, Celeste Greys, the only term I'll accept is your immediate and unconditional surrender."

"Excuse me, but why would we surrender when we obviously have the upper hand?" I spoke up, diverting his harsh gaze from Ezra to me.

"We hold your entire army prisoner. Accept your defeat." Ezra added,

"No, you've simply moved my assets to a safe position so that I can bombard the civilians of your home without incurring Imperial casualties."

"N-no."

"Rex, raise the planetary shields!" Sabine yelled, taking immediate action.

"The generators just went offline." Panic started to rise in the command center. We were trapped, with an Imperial psychopath threatening to kill the people we were trying so hard to protect.

"Someone's engaged the manual override at the power terminals!"

"Your shield generator is under my control. Just so you understand that my intentions are genuine, I shall demonstrate my power."

"Wait-,"

"Open fire." He said with a harsh causal tone. Green blasts started raining down on the city of Lothal from Thrawn's ship. Explosions ravaged the city, smoke building up in the air, collections of screams could be heard from up here. I put my gloves hand to my mouth, trying to hide my gapping mouth. Holograms of people rushing through the streets flooding our screens. I tried to hold back the tears that were building up on my eyelashes.

The planet I loved so much, being destroyed.

"Enough! I surrender!" Ezra yelled, Thrawn gave a nod to one of his officers and the blasts stopped, an eerie silence filling the planet.

"I await your arrival. And make no mistake, bring your Jedi friend along. If either of you attempt any heroics, I will resume the bombardment and destroy your city and then your friends." At that, Thrawn disappeared, Ezra stormed away from the control panel. Anger and sorrow swimming through his indigo eyes.

"Ezra, Celeste..." Hera tried to stop us, but Ezra kept on going, I followed. This is what I came here to do. This is what I will do. No matter the cost. I will fight beside Ezra and Lothal's Rebels until the end. Ezra handed Chopper his lightsaber, which the droid put in one of his storage compartments.

"I understand that you think you need to do this, but-,"

"This is what I was meant to do."

"We have to finish the fight our parents started or else... why are we even here?" I said, standing firm in my and Ezra's resolve.

"There's another way. There's always another way." Hera stuttered,

"I won't let you two go." She said, putting her hands on Ezra's shoulders, as if to anchor him down.

"Alright, if this isn't the way, then what is?"
