Tys POV

I didn't like the idea of home school, I just went with it because I'd get beaten if I didn't. My father and sister don't like me. My sister is a sophomore in highschool and I'm only a freshman. In a week it will be my birthday. I'm excited because its one year closer to me getting out of this hellhole. I would still have three more years, but I don't care as long as I'm leaving. My father is never home so my sister has to take care of me, even though I'm almost fifteen. Yeah, I'm kinda young for my grade. I think I am... but I just go with it. I hate coming home from school though because I know someone will be home to punish me for something. I actually don't know what I like more. Coming or going. Bullies, or father. But now I'm going to have to deal with both again, because I'm going back to public school. I walk along the sidewalk and realize that it's spring already. Wu- wut? The year has gone by so fast. As I arrive on the steps of the school, I go over what I need to remember here. Stick to the walls, don't talk, head down. Yeah, that'll work. I push the small button on the call and wait for the door to unlock. Once it does I step inside and look around. The light blue walls tower above me and golden (Sorry! Ty said it, not me!) colored banners and railing with white floors blind me. A kid steps in front of me. "Hey, my name is Sky." He said. "Mrs. Sharvel, the secretary, told me to show you around." I nod. Sky shows me around for a while and I cant help but think that the reason he's wearing sunglasses indoors isn't just because of the blinding floors and banners. He must be rich, too. He was wearing a gold (It was Ty!) amulet with some kind of rare gem on the inside. He must be popular, too. I was tripped but Sky helped me up. "Just keep walking." He said. "Hey! Come here Sky!" He turned around and I saw some big tough guy, probably a sophomore, standing and cracking his neck. Sky's jaw got punched and I got tripped again. I heard a crack and Sky cried out in pain. Maybe he wasn't that rich popular kid after all. I got kicked in the ribs and heard a crack, and felt pressure on my left foot and then I heard a crack. (You don't even know how much I wanted to write that. #Tysleftfoot) Sky reached for me, but a girl stepped on his hand with high heels. He cried out in pain until she got off. Even then he was stil whimpering. One kick to the face and I was out. But, while I was out, I heard the word "biggums".

You don't even know how easily I could have ended it there.

Skys POV

The doctor said I had a cracked rib and a smashed finger. Nothing in it was broken, but my fingernail was turning red and black. He said I could get up and go anywhere as long as it was in the hospital, so I went to Ty's room. Once I got in he was sleeping. The nurse said he had a broken left foot, (XD) and a broken nose. She left and I sat down in the chair next to his bed. He looked cute when he was sleeping. I'm bi, by the way. My sister hates me for it. Well I say good. I never liked her either. I look at Ty's arms and see that they are lined with scars. He must've cut. Oh, Ty. What made him do that? Someone comes in. I recognize her as the head cheerleader at our school. Sophomore. Homeroom Mrs. Burns. I'm a junior. I'm sixteen. Young for my grade, at least, I think. (I'm young for my age XD) "Who are you?" The girl said. I open my mouth to respond but she talks before I can. "Still sleeping?" She asked. She groaned and walked out. Ty opened his right eye, then his left, then blinked a few times, then smiled at me. "Hey." He said. I replied with a, "Sup." And looked at his eyes. They were crimson. That was odd. Well, I have my butter colored eyes. "So, did anyone besides you come to visit?" He asked me, snapping me back to reality. "Uhh, yeah. The cheer leading captain. Why?" I ask. "Shit." He said.
