Well, I'm not saying you shouldn't have a lot of money. For sure, you can earn money as much as you want. My opinion, in this case, is the notion of having a lot of money will make you happy is not the answer.

This is a book by a wealthy businessman. The book basically talks about his success mantra.
The author writes in the book, and I'm paraphrasing him. In order to maintain success, one has to be haunted by the feeling of extreme fear. This fear will make a person leave no stone unturned to maintain the success level. Hence, the title Only The Paranoid Survive.
Many of us would love to become wealthy and successful. But as per this author, even after becoming wealthy and successful, you should be haunted by the feeling of extreme fear. That's why many people work hard day and night, right? So at least they can have enough wealth even if they face, like say, a massive financial crisis.
Now here's the thing. If being wealthy and successful gonna get you paranoid, then what's the point of it all? How can money buy you happiness?
Sure enough, one has to think deeply about it and try to question what's life?
