summary:the team is locked in the bau after a huge snow storm, y/n and aaron have been together for a little over three months and the team doesn't know until a silly game of truth or dare.

"c'mon guys, one drink isn't going to hurt" - Rossi had said that an hour ago and now everyone but Spencer, Aaron, and Dave were buzzed. Y/n was a giggling mess as she sat across from Aaron, she couldn't keep her eyes off him. He wasn't in uniform, everyone had changed from their work clothes to whatever clothes they had in their go-bags.

"Derek, Y/n, c'mon dance with me!" Pen laughed grabbing his and Y/n's hand moving to the middle of the room to dance. "Guys lets play truth or dare" JJ piped up, looking at everyone in the room "ooo! yes but with a twist! we should incorporate spin the bottle!" Emily mumbled as she rested her head on Jjs shoulder.

"oo! okey guys let's play! and yes pretty boy you're playing too!" Y/n smiled as she took a seat beside Aaron, grabbing her glass of wine, she took a gulp almost finishing her glass. "Y'know you shouldn't drink it so fast" Aaron whispered as he lent into her side, she shrugged and watched as everyone took a seat on the floor. 

Aaron smiled at her,  wanting nothing more to be alone with her after the case they just had. "actually guys statistically speaking-" Y/N giggled and shook her head. "sorry spence but i don't think anyone really cares at this point" she whispered leaning against the desk, he frowned and nodded looking at the bottle in the middle of the circle.

"Okay! i'll go first!" Emily smiled, sipping her wine. spinning the bottle it landed on derek, he smirked and looked at emily "bring it, pretty lady." Spence rolled his eyes before looking at his book, sipping on some tea.

"okay truth or dare" derek replied with truth, Y/N zoned out, her hand slowly inching towards aaron's warm ones. "I dare you to kiss Penelope" she replied, hearing everyone's giggles, Y/n looked up to Aaron before looking over at derek kissing Pen, she smiled widely and clapped, leaning her head on Aaron shoulder. "Now that was a proper kiss!" Penelope exclaimed with a giggle.

Y/n was drunk and she was at the point where she  didn't care what the team saw, re-filling her glass back up she frowned as nothing came out of the bottle. "awh you guys! you drank it all" she laughed before looking to Aaron as he chuckled. "no, sweetheart, you drank it all" he mumbled, rubbing her back softly.

The team all looked to Aaron as he said the pet name, but they were brought out of their gaze when JJ cleared her throat. "Derek your turn!" he hummed as he spun the bottle, landing on Y/n. Tucking the hair behind her ear she smiled "dare, i bet you can't think of a good one"  y/n laced her fingers together, looking at him.

"Okay pretty lady, i dare you and Hotch to finally get rid of the sexual tension y'all have created in this room and go play seven minutes of heaven
- in his office" he smirked, everyone choked on their own spit, looking to derek. 

Spencer looked up from his book "what did i miss? guys someone tell me!" Hotch mumbled something under his breath before grabbing y/n's hands, ignoring the whoops and cheers from behind them.

Walking into his office Y/N smiled as he wrapped his arms around her, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I miss you, baby" he mumbled into her hair, y/n smiled into his chest, looking up at him "i've been here all night silly" she laughed, cupping his cheeks gently.

Aaron heard the giggled of everyone outside his door, rolling his eyes "maybe i should hire new profilers if none of them could figure out we're together" he laughed, leaning down to kiss her gently.

Hearing the door click open everyone cheered as the team saw them share a kiss, y/n broke away and looked at them "you guys, go back to playing your silly game, i have some catching up to you." she mumbled, wrapping her arms around him.

and that's how Y/n and Aaron spent the night together on his couch watching a movie on his laptop, with wine, snacks and of course kisses.
