CHAPTER THREE :
"Morning, mom."
"Lex, I need to use the car. Call Camilla or your boyfriend to drive you to school." My mom said.
"Ugh, Joe's not my boyfriend," I groaned.
I called Joe.
"Sup hoe," He said.
"Drive me to school?" I asked.
"I'm already on the way."
"Fuck you," and then I hung up.
I called Camilla and some other friends but they seem to be either on the way or already there. Did they really go to school this early?
One more option. Jake.
"Hey," I said.
"What?!" He half shouted.
"Someone's in a bad mood this morning," I teased, "Drive me to school?"
"Yeah okay whatever, text me your adress," Jake replied.
He arrived three minutes later.
"How'd you come so fast?" I asked surprise.
"My house is right in front of yours," He answered. The only thing seperating our house is the street.
"Oh."
The car ride was silent, only the radio filling up the silence.
"Clouds" by One Direction started playing.
"I know you said that you don't like it complicated," I sang along.
"That we should try to keep it simple," Jake and I sang.
"Oh my god, you listen to One Direction?" I asked. "A fanboy?"
"N-no," He scoffed.
Liar.
"We can be fan buddies!" I said adding a girly dramatic voice.
"Are you free after school?" I asked changing the subject.
"Why? You wanna hang out with me?" He said smirking.
"Do you not remember I'm your tutor?" I said rolling my eyes. "Are you?"
"Yeah, I'll meet you after school."
~*~*~
It's time for math class.
Breathe in, breathe out.
Not only I hate the subject so much, but Sean, my ex, is in that class too.
I walked into math class.
"Hey babe," Sean said.
"Fuck off," I almost shouted.
Sean kept on trying to talk to me and poking me, but I ignored him.
"Come on, don't ignore me!"
Ignore him.
"It was an accident!"
"Your bullshit is too close to me," I scoffed.
Secretly dating a girl for five months while in a relationship with me for two years, an accident? Bullshit.

School was finally over but, I couldn't find Jake.
Where are you? - L
Meet me outside school in five minutes. - J
It's been five minutes and he's still not here.
"Where the hell have you been?" I asked.
"Detention."
"For what?"
"Stuff."
"I see."
I sit on the passenger seat while Jake drove us to his house.
"Stop!" I said suddenly. "Can we please go to Green cafe first?"
"You scared me," He sighed.
"The Jake Henderson scared of me?" I smirked.
"You're too scary to look at."
Ouch, that hurts.
~*~*~*~*~*
"Why can't we go to Starbucks instead?" He complained. Starbucks is right beside Green Cafe.
"Because the lattes here are way better," I said with a duh tone.
"No one beats Starbucks," he said sternly.
"Such a white girl," I muttered. "Let's go home."

Jake's room is surprisingly clean, his bedroom theme is black and white.
We studied the chapter we were studying in school. I explained to him the bits that he didn't understand. After that, I made a quiz for him to take.
"4 out of 10 correct," I said, "It's not even half score yet," I sighed. "Let's try again."
"Can we please take a break?" He asked.
"Five minutes." I replied.
"Ten minutes." He argued.
"Four minutes."
"Eleven minutes."
"Three minutes."
"Seven minutes."
"Fine." I gave up.
Jake took my phone from the table.
"Sorry, it has a password." I said.
I looked at my phone. It said "iPhone is disabled, try again in 5 minutes". I snatched my iPhone from his hands.
It's been five minutes.
"Can I please play your phone?" He pleaded.
"Whatever."
Jake saw my snapchat story. There was him focusing on the quiz, the semi-transparent black bar said : tutoring a white girl.
"I'm not a white girl!" He whined.
"Says the person who's obsessed with Starbucks," I rolled my eyes, "Let's go back to studying."
~*~
"6 out of 10 correct, better than the last one, and more than half score at least," I said quite satisfied, "It's already 6:00 pm, I should get going."
"I don't have to drive you there since your house is right across mine," He said.
"Thank you, captain obvious."
