He's my first boyfriend.
I can say that our relationship is flowing smooth.
There's no problem with us.
But, we're not legal.
Because just like other teens out there, my father doesn't want me to enter a relationship.
So we keep it a secret, well I'm just like some teens who broke their parents rule.
Maybe that's what love can do.
Tonight is our first anniversary, first year of being couples...secretly.
But tonight is a big day, I'm planning to introduce him to my parents, as my boyfriend.
Ofcourse, my father will allow me. 'Cause I already turned 18 last week so there's no problem with that.
Me and Midnight are already in our meeting place, we're waiting for our parents to arrive.
While waiting we already ordered something to drink, we both ordered juice.
"What time will they arrived?" he asked me.
"I don't know, maybe they're on their way now." I answered.
It's already 8 and yet they're not here.
I decided to call my dad to asked him where they are when a call pop up on my phone.
Surprisingly, it's my dad. I pressed the answer button,
"Hello?" I asked.
"Ashianna, I'm sorry we can't make it now. We have some visitor so I suggest that we'll just move our meeting next day." He answered.
"What? Who's the visitor?"
"Your relatives, I want you to go home now. Tell your boyfriend that we're sorry for not showing up. I promise, we'll make it up tomorrow."
"Okay, I'm going now." I sighed as I put back my phone in my pouch and faced Midnight.
"They can't make it, we have some visitors so dad wants me to go home now. He told me that we'll just move our meeting tomorrow, I hope you understand." I said as I hold his hand.
"It's okay, I also need to go because of some agenda." He replied, smiling at me.
"Okay, bye for now." I said as I stood up in my seat.
Before I reached the door, he called me again.
"Ashianna, I'm going to take you home first. I can't let you go home alone."
"Okay, and maybe you can meet my parents there. Although, we're not planning to meet them there."
"It's alright, we'll just surprise them."
We went on his car and went to my parents house.
As soon as I reached the door, my hands are shaking. I'm nervous, it's the first time that my parents will meet him.
I never told them about him so I'm scared what their reaction might be.
I held the door and open it, I saw some familiar faces. My aunt and uncle! So they are the visitors Dad told me about.
I haven't meet their son because they say he don't have interests on meeting his relatives. Inshort, he's introvert just like my Midnight.
We went in and I hurriedly went to my aunt and uncle to hug them.
When I'm about to introduce Midnight, I saw my dad hugging him.
"Uh, Dad? Do you know him?" I asked dad, confusion is visible in my face.
Because, why would he hug Midnight? I then turned to Midnight who can't look at me.
What on the world is happening right now?
"You don't know him, Ashianna?" Dad asked me.
"I know him, because he's my—" I'm cut out with my words when my mom said the statement that breaks the hell out of me and shattered my heart into pieces.
"He's your cousin!"
So that's it. We're not meant to be, because the person that I want to spend my life with...
