Locked up

I looked at the academy in awe. Talagang malapit lang ito sa Crownilia at linakad na namin ng makababa kami sa barko. Sulit na sulit ang linakad namin at ngayon ay tinatanaw ang napaka-gandang kastilyo ng paaralan.

"This is it! Strega!" Shashy yelled in excitement. Nauna na itong tumakbo patungo sa academy at binuksan ang gate nito.

"Follow us." Lia said.

Sinunod naman namin ang sinabi nito at sumama sa kanila. Walang bakas ng mga taong nandito pero mukhang buhay na buhay padin ang Academy at mukhang napaka-daming ganap dito.

"Wala nabang tao dito?" Tanong ni storm na lumi-linga linga narin ngayon sa paligid namin. She seems to love flowers and plants.

"Wala. But, someone's taking care of it." Cass smirked.

"Is it a ghost?" English ni Blake na kinangiwi ko at tiningnan ito. Nabaling ang tingin nito sa akin at tinaasan ako ng kilay. "Bakit? Kaya ko rin noh." Whatever.

Bigla namang may ingay na nanggaling sa malaking pinto dito sa harapan namin at napansin kong nanginig si Blake at hinawakan ang braso ko at nagtago sa likod ko. I rolled my eyes at him. Duwag.

"Baka mumo."

The door opened and a girl jumped out of nowhere.

"AHH!" Blake screamed that made us look at him. Siya lang kasi ang sumigaw kaya't napakamot ito ng ulo at yumakap sa likod ko, scared.

"Ano ba yan cailyn, ang bano mona manggulat" luca laughed that made the ghost girl infront of us look at him seriously.

Cailyn?

"She was once a student of the Strega, but Rose killed her due to something. She helped winter through the times when she needed it, and up until now her soul can't be at peace. Maybe because she still have some things left to do." Lia whispered that made me nod.

Napansin ko namang nakatingin lang sa akin ang babaeng si cailyn tsaka binalingan ng tingin si storm na mukhang kinagulat nito.

"Winter?"

I looked at storm and saw a very unreadable expression on her face. Lahat kami ay tiningnan ito, but ace ignored us and started walking inside. "Pre! Wait!" Luca yelled and went after him with tylian.

"Uh, cailyn she's not winter." Shashy said awkwardly, pero hindi matanggal ang tingin ni cailyn kay storm at tinitingnan ito ng marahan. There's something in her looks that i couldn't understand. Pareho silang nagtititigan.

"Liana!" Napalingon ako at nakitang nauna na pala sila Serena kaya't sumunod ako dito at binalingan muna ng huling tingin si storm na pinagmamasdan ni storm.

"I'm Sure It's you winter." I heard cailyn say before i leave.

Nakakunot noo akong sumunod kina Serena at napatingin sa mga litratong nandito sa mga dingding rito. Some of them are moving and they are all looking at me as i walked down the hallway. Naalis nadin kasi sa paningin ko sina Serena kaya't lumabas ako at natagpuan ang sarili ko sa malawak na hardin rito.

The flower's are growing beautifully.

May mga paro-parong narito at nagliliparan sa bawat sulok ng hardin. They make the garden more beautiful than it already is. At sa ganda nito parang mas gugustuhin ko na nga ring manirahan dito eh. The fresh air, with the beautiful scenery.

Then the golden house caught my eyes.

Lumapit ako dito at namangha sa kumikinang nitong mga dingding. I saw some words on the floor but i couldnt understand it so i decided to open the door and portraits welcomed me.

Princess Winter Frostlyn, on her 16th birthday. I saw the other picture at the Academy on my first day. Pero may isa pa pala dito and in here she looks more angelic and the portrait looks more real. It is breath-taking.

"Winter Frostlyn. With all do respect and affection or whatever you call this overwhelming feeling. Can i court you?"

I heard voices that made me hiss. Nandito na naman yang mga nagpapakita sa akin.

It's happening again and i hate it. Ano ba talaga ang nangyayari sakin? Why do winter's memories kept flashing in my mind? Why are they bothering me? Why am i getting involved in her life? Bakit?!

I heaved a deep breathe then lost my balance. I sat down on the floor and as i did a more intense pain occured that made me groan in pain. Para akong sinasaksak sa dibdib sa sakit nito, tapos isama mo pa ang masakit kong ulo.

But then.

The door closed that made me look back. Pinilit kong tumayo at hinawakan ang pinto. But my eyes widened in shock when It's locked. Ni hindi ko nga ito maigalaw dahil sa sabay sabay na sakit kong nararamdaman.

I looked at the door and i gasp when suddenly i can't breath. Na para bang hinihigop ng pinto ang lahat ng hangin mula sa loob, all the oxygen and if i wont get out of here Im fucked up. Im done for.

I started banging the door and cried for help but as i did the more i tire myself. Mas lalo akong napapagod at nawawalan ng hininga. Kaya't wala akong ibang naisip pang gawin kundi ang maupo at tiisin ang lahat. I know someone would find me soon. I just need to endure this.

I slowly closed my eyes as i felt it getting heavier.

Suddenly i saw light.

There is a women calling my name and she is smiling at me.

"Ginawan kita ng umagahan mo, come on eat up." Nakangiting sabi nito sa akin tsaka linabas ang lunch box sa bag na dala dala niya.

"Oh, sa totoo lang halos lahat pinag luto ka ng ngayon kaso sa ka-kaaway sa may pinto sumingit na ako."

"You are the greatest chess player i had met in my life." She spoked now coughing blood. Who is she?

"My time has come..be the whitest Rose on the field."

It hurts seeing her bidding goodbye. It hurts seeing her hurting and what hurts most is i cant even remember her, i Dont know her. Kinakausap niya ko but—
